Leaving Chicago very very sad. After making friends with Sara and Ali and some other people at the hostel, it was very sad to leave the windy city. The final day consisted of walking all around Chicago with the group from the hostel, seeing the aqauarium and having one last night together. Sara invited me to a Hens Night, it was at this cute little bar that had a drag queen come and dance every 20 mins or so. It was pretty cool, we absolutley lost it when Whitney was one of the acts. In the end, I have decided that Chicago is a great city...but Cleveland isn't. After 7 hours on a bus, all that Cleveland has to offer is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum...cool, but nothing to rave about. Chicago ... read more

Just got back from Cleveland, was a good trip. Thank you Mike for making it so special, for taking me to see the worlds largest rubber stamp. Was an experiance, I loved it. It just shows how different each state is, Cleveland downtown is so different to Chicago downtown, but also a very beautiful state. I got to see the worlds largest rubber stamp, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe, went to Towercity, and just spent time walking around. Also got to see Pirates of the Caribbean, and Little Man, both excellent movies, and the company was great! Had a good weekend! ... read more

Hanging out on Hessler for one last day. Loading up my car tomorrow and heading up to Michigan for the real roadtrip preparations (like packing, getting new tires...you know). It's nice that this weekend is also the Street Fair. It's like they're throwing me a massive going away party! After an up and down week of goodbyes I finally feel ready to leave Cleveland. I think it finally sunk in that I really can come back to visit everyone who's still here. Makes the transition seem a little less stark. That's it for now.
