Little Petra
having dinner in the cave So last night we cooked food in the house, took everything in the car and drove to the cave in Little Petra. It's allowed to sleep and stay there but the problem is that people not always clean their mess.
We found the cave filled with rubbish so we cleaned it, put our mattresses on the floor and made a fire.
The next morning we had tea in one of the bedouin tents there and went back to the village.
We walked through the village and after a good walk we entered Petra from the back to see some more of Petra. Unbelievable, such beauty. I thought I had seen the beauty of Petra but the treasary is what makes Petra famous.
After some more oh's and waauw's we walked back to the entrance and into town. We had a coffee in a bar there and had a chat with the chief of the traffic police. Very friendly man. He did his very best to teach me some Arabic. It's still very poor and it will take a lot of time before I can use sentences but sometimes you can conversate with a few words and a lot of gestures ;-)
Little Petra
candles in the cave Ghassab has a friend who will take us to Aqaba, Wadi Rum and back to Petra tomorrow where I'll take the bus back to Amman.
Tomorrow, I will swim in the red sea, have a walk in the desert and will go back to Amman. A tight scedule as you can see.
Till tomorrow,
Salam
Ann.

Amai!
Ola Goempie! Grtz K
