I am planning on travelling Europe for 2 months, leaving in August, not doing too many countries, maybe Spain, Portugal and Greece. Does anyone have any ideas how much money i\'ll need?

I am hoping that I can work in hostels for maybe 2 weeks at a time to get accomodation free, is this possible? Does anyone know about what other sort of work is available for short term just so that I can travel for longer.

Thanks

Hello Lindsay 😊

To travel backpacker style you would need 30 to 60 Euros per day, not including the cost of inter city transport.

I wouldnt rely on working in hostels to get free accomodation. It is very good luck if you manage to score such a job.

To save money you could bring a tent. In some countries farmers will let you camp on their land.

Here are a couple of threads which may interest you. Couchsurfers is a site where you might be able to meet people to stay with, while you are travelling.
