Hi

I heard passed few years that Denmark pays great for seasonal jobs such as fruit/vegetable picking. I was hoping to come this summer to work in Denmark but it obviously not doing great economically and was wondering if that affects the possibility of inding fruit picking job there at this point?

Cheers!

Hi shaheen,

If you don´t have a European passport you´ll have trouble finding work. As for the recession - in my experience, the fruit and vegetables don´t monitor the stock market too closely, and seem to get on with their job regardless - and the wages won´t change as Denmark has a minimum wage.
The only problem I foresee is competition - over the past few years the secret has gotten out and with the widening of EU eligibility for various countries you won´t be the only one looking.
Get there early and hit em hard.
Good Luck. Reply to this
