Hey, Just a trial post on the blog site a few weeks before we go. It's all getting a bit more exciting now, with Tom almost finished with work and the stresses of job searching are long gone. Currently, the most daunting prospect for me is gauging how i will fit my mounds of travel gear, most of which is indispensable, into what originally looked like a huge bag. Now it looks considerably smaller when measured against what needs to be wedged in. And, apparently, you should leave about half the bag empty due to the amount of paraphernalia you acquire whilst on your travels. This is certainly not going to be easy. Hi folks. First off, thanks for taking an interest in Linz and my little adventure. The thirst for adventure sends us around the world but you guys are the reason that we'll be coming back. So, here we are a mere 9 weeks (its ages!!!!) until we are off on our adventure. Starting to feel excited...wish we were going tomorrow! Phil brought home his brothers roller bag yesterday to see whether I thought it'd be big enough for us to use. Its tiny! I understand the principal of travelling light, but I don't think we are going to fit hardly anything in it. Might work on convincing Phil to buy a new huge roller bag and take the smaller one for all the things we will want to bring back! Things to do... not much... might make a list in a minute.
