Friday night, my mates Dom, Stella, Wayne, Ian, Kate and I met up and headed for Chicago’s in Chelmsford now that it had been refurbished. I hadn’t been out on the town since the smoking ban started so hadn’t experience the ‘smoke free dancing’. Started off at Barrosh, which always had good music and is always busy, even had a private bash on at the back. Had one here before heading to our final destination. On entering seems bigger as not now dark wood but very white and clean looking, reception, coat storage and the DJ have all moved but both bars were in the same place so no difficulty getting a round in.
