Hey, Hello, Hi, Kaixo, & Hola! That fourth one is basque! Anyways, myself, my friends Katrina, Natalie, and Kacy went into the canary islands of Spain for a little 5 day getaway as our last hurrah together! Guess how much it was? 40 euros round trip. I couldn't say no. 20 flipping euros with Ryanair to get me to a beautiful tropical island? I'll take it!!!!! What are the canary islands? They are Spanish territory off of the western coast of Africa. Are they safe? Yes! Completely. The only coast that is unsafe would be the eastern coast of Africa, where you have Somalia and those much more dangerous waters. (If you've ever seen Captain Phillips). The flight is a bit longer because you are leaving the mainland and basically entering another continent way down south. ... read more

We were woken by the noise of the ship docking at about 5.00am this morning. This is one of the penalties for being on a lower deck at the back. The bow thrusters were in use. After a quick repack of the hand luggage to get everything left into the two small suitcases, we head off to the buffet for our last meal on-board. There were lots of people carrying lots of bags and it is pure chaos. Thankfully we were there before most so managed to get a decent table watching the sunrise. We selected Green labels on Wednesday for our luggage, and when we have finished breakfast, Green has already been called, so we can head straight off the ship without delay. This is a little trick we will use in future. There was ... read more
Bags arriving as we get off the ship - A potential for 9000 bags etc
Green area to correspond with the luggage tickets we got on Wednesday
Half of our bags - One holdall split so had to have it ripped for peace of mind

We write the travel blog because we enjoy doing it, but only publish it so others can enjoy it too.

Today we are travelling from London Gatwick to Tenerife South on Easyjet. As we are not restricted to the normal two hour check in restriction with Easyjet, we have treated ourselves to a lounge. We are pleasantly surprised by what they have on offer. They even had warm bacon baps. Progress from the lounge through to the gate and onto the plane was smooth and in no time at all, we were back in Tenerife. Another great holiday has sadly come to an end Farewell till next time folks on our next scheduled travel. It is being prepared right now.... read more

MałaEm jak zaczynała mowić, nazwała ja w ubiegłym roku 'Małi ... read more

Co wpis, to z Teneryfy. Muszę coś z tym zrobić. Ale jeszcze nie teraz. Teraz mamy 10 dni wiosno-lata, ośmiornic i wina afrutado. Zaopatrzeni w smażonego kurczaczka, książki z naklejkami, kredki i kolorowanki plus kupną ryanową Lavazzę całkiem przyzwoicie przeżyliśmy. Czwartek i piątek to tutaj największe wielkanocne... read more

Hello from a warm sunny Tenerife. It actually took 18 hours to cruise here from Madeira, longer than we expected. I think it's about a days sailing that is equivalent to a one hour flight. This is our first 'shorts day'. It's 24 degrees with a slight breeze. There are petunias flowering everywhere along with all the lovely trees. We are sailing toCape Verde tonight and will arrive in 3 days time....so will report from there. My phone contract does not allow international calls so if you need to contact us please email... or send comment on this blog. Hope you all got yesterday's e mail. I just couldn't get this website to work. Last night we went to a musical ....world music. It was very lively and extremely energetic. There are some very good dancers ... read more

Southampton to Tenerife We left Southampton with clear skies and great fireworks before heading out into the English Channel. By 3am on the Tuesday we were heading into the first storm, we awoke in the morning in the grip of a Force 8 gale. Not too much walking on deck then!! As we cruised further South it has become warmer and we docked in Santa Cruz with sunshine and temperatures of 22 plus. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the capital of the Canaries and... read more
