The problem with family visits is that everywhere there is cake and other food to eat and no way you can say no. That is just not there. That was the same with sleeping. Sonja & Jorg gave their waterbed to us and were sleeping themselves on an airbed. We told them that was not on, so we slept on the airbad. That was just as bad for whoever was first in bed when the other arrived you were lifted half a metre up in the air. Nevertheless we did sleep very well. The next day it was visits to family in Kirkel. You will not get away without seeing them. Same story of food and cake. We think we have increased our weight by 5 kilos since we hit Germany.
