Prague I lost my comment will try again. The pictures are beautiful. Inside the church reminds me of those in Vienna (Wien) We had a good Thanksgiving dinner at Amy and Mikes Wed. night and at Nancy and Waynes Thursday. So full! That Auburn game was so exciting Friday. I can't believe it is so close to Christmas. Going to Amy's Sat. for Mama Tine's family. Looking forward to seeing you "sometime"! Love you.
Warsaw& auburn and ga. Enjoyed the pictures of Warsaw. We went to Tangiers this morning. and this afternoon going to watch Auburn and Ga.on television. I'm usually unsure who to yell for but since auburn hasn't lost and ga. has I don't think Amy and Mike would mind. I know you're counting the days to Cabo.We love you. Memaw and Pops
Italy So glad you and Des had a good trip to Italy. We sure did enjoy seeing Wes, Linda, and Wade this week. Wish you could have seen that Auburn game. They went over and saw it with Mark and boys. That was so exciting (on tv). Just got back from Amy's. Janie and Abby Napier washed our car - the money they made is going to the humane society. So far they had $45.00. That food sure did look good !!!The weather here is lots better now. Enjoying your blogs!!!!. Love you, Memaw
Sorry to hear about your fall but that is part of being a Knight. Your mother just left my house and yes it is still a mess. Tommy and Aiden came over and we all had some homemade (Aiden and myself) birthday cake. Your Italy trip sounds very yummy. Be safe and have a good time in the "big" city, can't wait to see pictures of your new coat.
Love you,
Aunt Pam
Is sounds like you are having a great time. I am glad that you are teaching in the country because it sounds like it is your only place to rest. Congratulations on being able to see so much, I like your plan.
Be careful and stay safe.
Love,
Aunt Pam
It sounds like you are planning some very nice vacations and all I can hope for is to visit family. With something like that to look forward saving shouldn't be hard. Will you be able to ski any in Poland?
Love you
Sorry about the food - so why not 2 test next week! Now that the weekend is here you can spend some of that hard earned cash. The pictures of the food all look great but looks can be deceiving. Enjoy your weekend and have some fun.
Love you
school Alyson, it was good to hear from you this week about your school. We've had a good week. Yesterday Pops and I went to Mark and Melissas. It was Josh's black belt finals. He did well on all except the last kick. He'll finish that next week. We went to a Japanese cafe afterwards. We are going to Amy and Mike's for supper tonight so I'll write more later. Your mother sent me your address so we'll send you a short note. Love your, Memaw and Pops.
Everything looks so old but very beautiful. It must be something to see in person. Are there as many restaurants for you to eat at or will you be cooking? If you can receive packages for Christmas please let me know what you want along with your address. Have a great time and be careful. Enjoy your classroom and your students.
Love you,
Aunt Pam

I am so proud of you. It sounds like everything is really coming together. What is the weather like in Poland? Hopefully it won't be as hot as it is now. Just be careful - a lot of people love you in the states.

Job!Yeh!!!!! We just got back from Southern Pit. First time we had been in a while. It was great as usual (esp. cracklin cornbread) So glad you got what you wanted .Don't think it will be in the 100 degree weather either! What is the temp.? It has been a little cooler the last day ; inthe 89 or 90 but humidity is really bad. It is trying to thunder here now and maybe rain in a little bit. I'm trying to get the baseball game Miles Head (Lisles) is playing in tonight so I am suppose to call Van back after they eat supper but if it thunders again I might not get the volume to hear him. Pops said he may get it on the big computer. He's playing minor league for the Boston Red Sox.(Miles)What is your address ? Tell us what you will be teaching and what part of Canada your new roommate is from . Here c omes the rain! (and the thunder) Love you, Memaw and Pops
roaches I think your 'insects' are catching! For the first time in years, we have them ,too. This morning I chased one in our back shower - night before last , I chased two in the hall, one at bottom of our bed on floor (never had one in there) 2 in back bathroom and got one on front bed *(never had one there). Ron is suppose to come spray this afternoon or in morning (he's been out for surgery for last month, but saw him while we were taking up money yesterday. Judy said Kathy had them for first time lately (she's staying there til it gets cooler.)They were up from 2 til 6 last night (had 2 raccoons on sun porch). They tore the screen to eat the cat's food. Watching Braves this afternoon - they beat last 2 games in bottom of 9th. Behind 4-0 in 6th.We're still praying for your right job- be sure it's safe!. Love you, Memaw
school I just wrote you a note and it disappeared whileI was talking to Amy---don't guess you got it!!!!Will make this shorter. Hope you find whatever you think is best whether nanny or teaching. You'll know! We've had terrible hot weather, too, but a. c. is better than you have!. Other than going to Hardee's , getting my hair washed we stay inside. Going to Griffiths was a change :( I cooked last night but that's too hot)Going to church tomorrow to take up money (fried chicken)Got your postcard ; since I can't make prints on laptop, I can show that to ones we tell about you and how pretty it is.Love, Memaw
shootingstar We went to Williamson's Papa Willie's Fri. night. Anne said she got up at 2 A.M. to see the meteor shower we had. (Thurs. night) They had it in the paper but I didn'tget up.!! Anne said she saw several of them!!Maybe it was the same ones we had that you saw!! This is the first day it hasn't been in the upper 90's in over a month. It rained in Wmson and going to here today so it should stay in the 80's for 2 days.
The seafood looks delicious. We are going to the scout hut tonight for Pops S.S. class having a low country boil. We talked to Johnny and Willie Ebetina this morning at Hardees. Johnny was born in Italy. They said that was a pretty place but I know you'll pick out the perfect place. Just be sure it's safe! Love you, Memaw
hahahahahahahaha Your Uncle Tom called me from the road just to let me know how much he is enjoying your blog. I am just picturing him reading "Murder in the Night" in the middle of Bible sales conference! Hey, can you get a carry permit in Greece??
That was some night! you'll be our next Gatlin author! We went to the Lofton reunion Sat. I prayed we wouldn't die of heat exhaustion, -and there was a breeze plus Sport's 2 big fans. It started getting hotter when we left at 2:30. It has been in the 90's for the last month and no sign of letting up.We had about 55 there, better than last year. Van brought me Dvd (or cd's, etc) of last 5 years. All of you were in there, too, in one of them. I hope this gets to you, I haven't been able to send my emails lately. They're all back in s chool . They stayed with us last week til Fri,They caught the one that murdered his wife and stepdaughter behind us ( it was on America's most wanted) I saw a moccasin in our front yard last week. that's my news!!Enjoygetting your blog!.
