Wow! What a great cruise! This would be the kind of cruise I could convince my husband to take--I may have to get more details from you when you get home! It looks so good! Can't wait to hear about the rest of your cruise/Galapagos adventures!
Buenas Tardes amigos Hola, I am catching up with your blog today at Gail's. My computer died a horrible death over 2 weeks ago (sob). Gail is sitting over on the couch yelling at the TV - World Men's Curling. It's quite distracting for a curling dummy like myself. Your last few entries have me travelling vicariously. What amazing things you have seen and experienced. The floating islands! The climb up the mountains on the island. the kestrals, so many wonders. Love it. Carry on, buenas suerte en sus viajes.
Fantastic Hi folks. Great comments and pictures. I am really enjoying following your trip. You look like you are having a great time. Keep the blogs coming. Much appreciated.
Machu Picchu This is one place I have always wanted to visit. Someone told me that it's the nearest you will get to God. Well what do you think?
True of not.
Glad you went and loved it. Can't wait to hear and see the pic.
Hi Guys. Oh Paulline you are much more braver than me holding that bird. I am almost having a panic attact thinking about it. LOL. They were nice tho. We are cleaning up yesterday and today from, guess what, .....30 cm snow. Like we needed more snow!!! Actually it has been going down quite fast. So this will just get rid of the rest more quickly, we hope. I am glad u r having the time of your life. I can hardly wait till u get home to talk to you so u can tell me about your adventures. Harold, you are doing a fine job with the log. Have a great day, love u and will chat soon. xoxoxo to Abbey
I thought it would be excrutiatingly hot at the equator. Glad ti was more comfortable. The world men's curling is on this week. Canada (Jeff Stoughton) won their first two games. I'm madly trtying to catch up on the bridge games I missed when I was sick. Hope I can get them all in by the end pof the month. Weather has been much nicer, but it will be dipping down to below 0 for a day or two. THey've been having blizzards in Edmonton and the maritimes. First week of the electionis over & it';s been BORING. Hugs & kisses.
Hola Ecuador con los Smiths Well, we are pleased to know that April's fool played only a mild trick on you. What an experience for these travelers? First, trying to take a wrong flight and later to lose your bearings in Quito.
Be happy, you are still enjoying good weather while we are starting to have milder temperatrures, over 0ºC.
We couldn't open your last blog. I noticed that "/bloggers"was missing frrom www.travelblog/bloggers/lossmithviajan/.
Gracias por mantenernos informados.
Saludos de Anita y Ricardo.

Hello! I have once again enjoyed catching up on your travels (about 3 weeks worth)! I need to make a better effort to read them more often so I can leave you little notes. Every entry I read makes me very jealous of your exerience...
I have a couple of personal news items to share with you. Mike and I have sold our house and will be leaving Thompson. Mike will leave at the end of May and I will leave at the end of the school year. Pauline, we will really have to get that lunch in, otherwise you're going to have to visit us in Winnipeg. (Well, I guess you can visit us in Winnipeg anyway.) You can count on a big Thompson-Whitehead shaker before we leave, which I hope you are home for.
Also, Mike and I have set a wedding date for March 29th, 2012 in Las Vegas!!!! We have booked the ceremony and reception at Caesar's Palace. I have sent you a Save-the-Date, but you obviously won't get it until you return. I'm so excited!! (Mike is too, in case you were wondering. LOL).
Take care,
Dawn
Thanks! Pauline, Abby, Harold... Love the blogs as you continue your explorations! I look forward to each update. My Best wishes to all as you continue your adventure. Thanks for all the updates! ... Norine
Jacques Cousteau Jacques had the right idea apparently. We heard from our guide that on the Bolivian end of the lake, ruins and artifacts have been found quite deep, leading to the conclusion that the lake was much smaller at one time.
What a great time you had on Lake Titicaca! I am totally out of breath just hearing about your treks up mountains and down dales (if there are aany dales there). It is cool today, but the temp. is +2 celsius, so I expect spring is coming. Politicians are really busy these days trying to out do each other. It gets to be a bit boring after awhile, even for this political junkie! I love your descriptions of the country, the people, and all your experiences. Good for Abbey to keep you going. Just think what you mighj have missed. Good luck to Abbey on her math test. Enjoy your day off. Tours can be very tiring. Much love from this Juanita. XXXOOO.
Trip of a lifetime Great entry. Love the photo of all of you in traditional dress! I remember seeing a documentary about Jacques Cousteau and Lake Titicaca. They were in search of Inca treasure buried under the lake, but all they came up with was pottery and some other cultural artifacts. Looking forward to the next installment. Take care, Maria
Continue to enjoy reading about your adventures. Hard to believe your trip is half over already. Glad to hear everyone is feeling better and that you're able to eat BIG platters of food! Spring break is finally here-we will go to Brandon to see Kelsi for a few days. It is actually beginning to feel like spring with the warm sun and nicer temps. The snow is melting and we're getting muck and puddles. Take care.
El Parrillizer Ola - Wow, that is quite the lunch tray. I don't know what is more impressive, the fact that you ate most of it or that you were able to walk around afterwards! As always, enjoying the pics and the observations. Take care intrepid travellers, Maria
good to know It's good to know you are all eating well... I see I have no need to worry! Love the wavy hair Abbey and the awesome sweater Pauline!
Love Dawna
