So here it is!! Some more photos!! In the last few weeks we've been chilling out and trying to buy the most mexican exotic stuff before our departure.....and stuffing our faces with the last few bites of the ummmmm food. My personal favorite is stuffed pineapple with seafood and cheese on top...like hawaiian pizza but sweet jesus it's so much more scrumsious!!! So the day to day life in Guadalajara mostly consists of walking to the big ave close to where we live and get a hit of exhaust fumes and a few cat calls from the builders on the other side of the street. Not so cool. ****Sidenote: A friend of mine went to Boston and began to think that she longer was attrative because no one made remarks or whistled to her in the ... read more

Helllllooooo!! So back to school, back to school…humbug!! But with tons of new and crazy adventures!! I had 2 weeks off for Easter and then I took another one off….yes!!! So, I started off bad. To go to Merida....cost me a damn fortune! The air line crashed about 15 days before my flight...errr. So finally I ended up paying 400 bucks for a ticket that was suppose to cost me only 160. Justice? I think not! Rediculous!! So with 3 weeks off I started off with Merida, deadly hot and humid but wicked cool pyramids (Uxmal and Poc Ruta) around the area, and the houses are super colourful and it had a good youth hostel with a good looking salsa teacher!! Honestly I’m am starting to believe that the best part of traveling is what’s going ... read more

Hey peps!! I hope you are all doing!! We're hanging strong with all this warmth!! haha!! Its beautiful in Guadalajara but just a bit too polluted for my liking...people hang out on the side of the roads wearing those SARS masks which is kinda freaky. School is going well, but god diggady damn theres tons a reading to do...and my brain is busting neurons! So far we've been trying to go away for the weekends but we've only managed to go to the beach once and hopefully this weekend we will head to the mountains to see the monarc butterflies....its suppose to be amazing!! And we've watched loads of soccer...I LOVE it!! so much fun!! The games are full with loads of embiance!! Other then that integrating into the mexicain culture has not been as ... read more

Hello!!! I hope everything is going well for all of you where ever you might be around the world. Here in Mexico everything is hot and spicy!! I love it! School is starting this week and for the first time in a long time Im actually pumped! Guadalajara is a beautiful city...full of mexican spirit and tradition. We arrived a week and a half ago and like most people when arriving to a new place we meet all the canadians and americans so far in town. On top of it, we live in a apartement where most of the people from Canada...say hello to intergration in the new country..nope. But we just needed a place to start off in and to feel some security to begin with, expecially with Ben Harper getting elected, being with other Canadians ... read more
