We kicked off our long day of walking by starting at the famous home of the Boston red Sox, Fenway Park. Since there wasn't a game being played there that day we were able to park on the street for the entire day free of charge. After walking around the stadium we headed off to the Prudential Tower. On the way we passed a firehouse which the architecture was amazing and also snagged a picture next to a Ferrari on the street. The views from the top of the tower were exquisite as the weather that day was perfect. Next stop on our journey was the Trinity Church. Unfortunately due to a wedding we were unable to go inside and experience the beauty of it but we did get some pretty awesome pictures from outside. After ... read more

Before i hopped on a plane back to Mickey Mouse's home of Orlando we grabbed some dunkin donuts and headed off to the prestigious Harvard University to walk around the campus. There is an unofficial tour of the campus but we opted to wander aimlessly on our own. The weather definitely had a change of heart and we got a day of the sun shining as we walked around.... read more

As we got ready for the day we noticed the weather sure wasn't going to cooperate with us and we were prepared to get a little damp. With umbrella in tow we headed off to catch the T and start off our day. Our first stop was the New England Aquarium (we opted to get the Boston City Pass (http://www.citypass.com/city/boston.html) Upon arriving at the aquarium we decided to take in the 3-D Imax show before heading inside as it was in a separate building. we dont recommend visiting on a weekend, especially a holiday weekend in the rain as the place was packed. After having some fun in the aquarium we decided to walk the streets and saw Samuel Adams statue outside of the market before visiting the Holocaust Memorial on our route to the T ... read more

After we checked out of the hotel, hit a convenience store for a snack we headed over to the Georgia Aquarium. We were fortunate enough to experience one of their special exhibits, The Titanic, which had a variety of actual artifacts from the shipwreck, a lot of information regarding the events leading up to the crash, an iceberg replica which was the exact temperature of the ice that people clung on to in order to see how long you could've lasted (it was COLD!). the exhibit also did something very interesting after they took your picture at the grand staircase you were assigned a card of one of the actual passengers on board telling you about them and at the end of the exhibit you get to see if you were a survivor or not. The ... read more

When we arrived to Atlanta our first stop before even checking into the hotel was to visit the Martin Luther King Jr Historical Center. The grounds are very large with tons to see. various museums, architecture, monuments and history to indulge yourself in. We managed to see the house that MLK grew up in, the Atlanta fire station no. 6, Ebenezer Baptist church as well as MLK's final resting place. after soaking in all the history of one of the greatest men alive we headed off to the hotel and try to track down some dinner. After dinner it was a short walk over to Turner field where we saw the Toronto Blue Jays take on the Atlanta Braves. Inside the field grounds are a ton of statues commemorating past players. There is also the Braves ... read more

This morning we started our trek by sitting in the car, wohoo! Little did I know there would be walking to be done upon arrival. We headed off to Snoqualmie Falls, which on the way we passed a no hitch hiking sign, almost had a huge deer run out into the road and saw a cool old train. Upon arrival we hit the upper observation deck and snapped some pictures. Then we headed down the 1/2 mile hike on muddy and slightly steep terrain to the lower observation deck. The view from the bottom was amazing and we encountered all kind of interesting vegetation along the way and even some work stuff via a hydro power plant. After climbing back to the top we snapped a couple more pictures form a different angle, grabbed a warm ... read more

I departed Orlando the night before yet didn't finally get to Seattle until around 1am due to delays caused in Dallas airport due to strong winds. Upon arrival and being picked up by my future wife we headed home to get some sleep before our jam packed day begun. Once we got up and ready we hit the pavement. She had purchased a book titled "Walking Seattle". We used that to start our journey and along the way to reach our first walk, we had some of the best macaroni and cheese you'll ever have. After we got nice and full we proceeded up a very steep hill. It was a rather long journey and the hike up the hill seemed like forever but the end result was amazing, as the views over looking the city ... read more

We packed up early, ate fast and were whisked away via water taxi to the airport. After we collected our checked bags from earlier, we went through customs and all that fun happy stuff. Then had a nice long movie filled flight back to New York (JFK airport). At the airport we enjoyed some St Patrick's Day drinks as we had a meal at Chili's Too. Then we just sat and waited until Crystal's flight left for Seattle and mine left for Orlando an hour afterwards ending the wonderful trip for both of us.... read more

This morning we arose early to hit the awesome breakfast buffet and try to get out to the square for sunrise but we missed that goal by a little bit...haha. Today we spent the day going inside a few places and the first stop was Doges Palace, which we were like the 6th people in line. The palace was so huge and elaborate it took us a good two hours or more to get through it all. No pictures are allowed inside the palace to show you all the exquisite artwork, colors, gold, armory, etc. but we did get a few inside the courtyard area and in the prison area. Next up was going inside and to the top of the campanile. the views from there were stunning looking out over the city as well as ... read more

We were up at the crack of dawn and boarding a bus to head back to the Venice airport. This was for two reasons, One being to check some of our large luggage and two is to catch the water taxi into the city. The boat ride was rather nice and pretty smooth. We encountered some gorgeous views as we approached the city and even more so as we cruised down the grand canal to the hotel. Upon reaching the hotel we unloaded and labeled all of our luggage with our room number and then had about an hour to waste so we quickly headed out on the city. We were a 10 minute walk from the San Marco Piazza so that's where we went. I snapped off a ton of pictures and then we headed ... read more
