I departed Orlando the night before yet didn't finally get to Seattle until around 1am due to delays caused in Dallas airport due to strong winds. Upon arrival and being picked up by my future wife we headed home to get some sleep before our jam packed day begun. Once we got up and ready we hit the pavement. She had purchased a book titled "Walking Seattle". We used that to start our journey and along the way to reach our first walk, we had some of the best macaroni and cheese you'll ever have. After we got nice and full we proceeded up a very steep hill. It was a rather long journey and the hike up the hill seemed like forever but the end result was amazing, as the views over looking the city were pristine. The walk down the hill was a lot nicer.
Upon finishing that walk we headed back to her apartment to get the car and then we drove over to see the Seattle Japanese Gardens as it was across the street from our next hike. The gardens were very pretty, most of the flowers were not blooming yet, but there was a lot

we cruised by this on the way to lunch of greens and a few flowers in bloom. After spending a nice chunk of time in the gardens we headed across the street to begin our nature walk. the walk was gorgeous and we encountered some very scenic views, gorgeous vegetation as well as some wildlife. The walk took us along the waterfront and we had an amazing view of The University of Washington's football stadium. We also saw some crew members rowing across the lake. That's when things got ugly on the walk and we encountered some VERY muddy paths. of course we both wore white sneakers. Being the troopers we were we complained a bit but sucked it up to keep on moving. Upon making it through the boggy mess we reached the Seattle Museum of Industry which had some big pieces out front such as a gun from a battleship, a firehouse bell and a part from a paper mill. We then proceeded on the walk and were over by some houses which were nicely kept before crossing a bridge on the route back to the car.
After we concluded that long walk we headed back in order to pick the dog up from day care

this was located over by the space needle and meet some of her friends for dinner. We ate at a Moroccan restaurant
which i was very skeptical about at first but upon making it through my first experience there i would go back in a heartbeat. The food was exceptional, there was some live belly dancers and to top it off you eat with your hands! After dinner it was back to the apartment to kick off the shoes and rest up for the next day full of walking.
