After we checked out of the hotel, hit a convenience store for a snack we headed over to the Georgia Aquarium. We were fortunate enough to experience one of their special exhibits, The Titanic, which had a variety of actual artifacts from the shipwreck, a lot of information regarding the events leading up to the crash, an iceberg replica which was the exact temperature of the ice that people clung on to in order to see how long you could've lasted (it was COLD!). the exhibit also did something very interesting after they took your picture at the grand staircase you were assigned a card of one of the actual passengers on board telling you about them and at the end of the exhibit you get to see if you were a survivor or not. The rest of the aquarium is fabulous with plenty of exhibits, as well as interaction points such as touching animals such as horse shoe crabs, sting rays, sharks and more. It's a ton of fun for people of all ages.
