hrmph! woah! super drama! your boss is crazy. He apparently thinks he's running some under-the-table-business out of the back of his oversized cargo van. Can you sue him? Not that you would want legal issues, but still, he seems unphased! hrmph. Good for you for moving on and showing others their potential! :)

Wow Susan, its so amazing all the history you are learning, this is exactly the kind of things you wanted to know! Its great that you are getting to do it!
Ha. I love this entry! Not just because I'm in a lot of the pics ;) but because of your honesty. It's great to hear what you are learning Suz, somehow I will visit you!
much love!
awww babygirl! I can't believe he's being such an ass. Errr actually, I can believe it since some really traditional Koreans are almost impossible to work with.
Hang in there and hopefully this month will FLY by for you! I love you and so glad that you have Betty there for you. Stay warm!
interesting Hi susan. again your journal entries fill me with thoughts of my own and a self reflection into my own pond of life. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, it sounds like you've learned and grown much from it. Wishing you a safe, happy and prosperous new year :)

<333 hahah i remember those public showers! oyyyyy. hahhaa
i love hearing about your adventures and it sure sounds like you are having plenty! be safe and happy holidays, sis! =)))
hurm this one was good, I don't know why your boss is such an idiot. If so many people have quit why doesn't he realize that he sucks and needs to change? argh!
:( I missed your phonecall... :( Anyway, room with no windows, ISH! Relax on the spending woman, your life seems like a soap opera over there. I like it!
drama! wow, god damn. that's a lot of damn drama for that! I've noticed that the embassies in other countries, including the US embassay in other countries, well... suck. I'm sorry about all the hassle, but it looks like it's paid off!!! sweet!! How long will you be in Seoul for? I think myself and a friend my try to take a trip out there this coming year, it would be great to have a local around! :)
Motivation! Hey Susan,
Holy cow, what motivation you had to get out of your old situation. So many people in your situation would have taken it longer rather than go through all of that hassle! Good for you! So, you had to renounce your citizenship? I don't get it. If you were a citizen of Korea, then why did you need a visa in the first place? Immigration is soooooo confusing. Anyway, I'm glad everything worked out in the end. Hey, what's your main e-mail address? Your gmail? Just know that we think of you often. Just yesterday, someone mentioned your name, and Pablo said, "Awwww, Susan..." WE MISS YOU!
Congrats lady!! Looks like all the hustling worked out in the end. Maybe Andy and you will be neighbors in Seoul, and Wen and I will visit and we'll be one random happy family! Just hoping out loud. ;)
Hollar with some pics next time...like em!
interesting another great journal entry. Sounds like you're seeing how the other half live and comparing/contrasting the differences between our culture and theirs.
WTF!!! Dude this entry is absolutely hilarious!!! What are you learning and is there anything that Korean's do in a potlite mannor in social settings? LOL hope you surviving and not learning all those annoying and RUDE habbits.
sweeeet! oh oh, I enjoyed this installment. The ending was very doogie howser show like, if you ever saw it. cause the end of the show he would always type up some moral of the story. Sounds like betty's cool, can't wait to read more! keep the pics coming, oh and i think the club names are hilarious!
you have to remember the recipes...case we end up in Chi-town together. I had Soju few nights ago and thought of you.. awww, Mr. David likes you... :) that's nice. Be nice to them boys.
WOWzer! Hey Susan,
It sounds like I'll definitely need to be saving up my money! Seoul sounds amazing, and it also sounds like you have any amazing family. Take care, and I hope everything works out for you with "Uncle Timothy" and finding a new place to work.
MWAH!
Erica
woah, crazy! wow, you have assigned seats in the theater?! that's crazy, but I guess could be a good thing. Why have so my teachers quit? And the nightclubs, do you talk to the server to get setup as in a singles scene?
