Welcome Home ! What an amazing Megamoon and wonderful thing to have done. Huge congratulations, and now every BEST wish for the difficult job of have an ordinary life in UK for a bit. hope to see you before the next adventure.
Much love Muriel
Can't wait to see you ...... Hey you're on the home straight. Glad 'the son' and Jaime looked after you.
See you soon. Can't wait to catch up on all your stories. Travel safely xxxxx
Your wardrobe It looks like someone in the army has folded your clothes. We couldn't spot your shoe cleaning brushes, but is that because you left them in Bhutan for us to carry back to the UK (along with a useful big stone....).
xxxxFlora and Tessa
Wow You two are amazing. I'm impressed Mel manages to stick with the wackiness! She has probably been conditioned by now. The wads are tracking your moves so make sure you don't stop for too long, no slacking now. Hopefully we will see you before we shoot off to the east (middle) keep on trucking. ?
Having become a recent reader of your blogs, I've gotta say, "Keep 'em coming!" They are so hilarious and as I'm not a very good cyclist, it's great to vicariously enjoy your encounters. :)
well now, there's a coincidence Today in Dong Ha we met Mr Binh who wants to show up around the DMZed.
We were up for it after talking to him for ten minutes in a cafe run by a bunch of really really barking mad girls but he showed us his little book of comment from happy clients anyway, and we saw your entry, andyandmel.
We've been writing a blog called andyandnel.
That's strange eh?
I've enjoyed reading a couple of your posts. Have fun and write back if you're similarly surprised by our very similarly named blog coincidence.
Many thanks for the compliment! Been enjoying looking over your blog - it looks like your visit to Taktsang was better timed - we were in thick cloud 90% of the time!
Don't look down Have just spent a lazy Saturday morning reading through your travel blog entries - sounds like you guys are having the most amazing time. Having read about you guys carrying merrily on regardless of jungle / monsoon / dust-clouds now feel a little ashamed that a few unseasonal snow flakes put paid to my bike riding plans this morning!
The video of the Bhutanese bus ride on this entry was a particular highlight - and Katherine is calling the end of the music as the crash test dummies - oh, how we laughed!
CONGRATULATIONS TO KATHERINE COX! The first correct identification of the 'Crash Test Dummies' on our Bhutan bus video. She wins some kind of incredible prize, that everyone else is likely to be very jealous of.... Well done Katherine!
Many thanks! Thanks Ali - it is difficult to put Sumatra into words... I'm sure you can recall the blast on your senses that needs more than a bit of prose to bring it to life! Very impressed by your Iceland photos!

Spot the spider! Hi guys - I'm slightly disappointed (although much relieved) not to have seen a picture of the spider you had to chase around the bathroom. That story gives me nightmares! Lovely pics again. You're nearly on the last leg now. There was definately a sign (Anda Melint) welcoming you by name across the equator. Lots of love xxxx
Hello Everyone!
We have left Bhutan... and now cycled over 7200km through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia (Sumatra, Java and Bali)! We are now finishing off our time in Indonesia and soon will be heading over to Australia.
We are really looking forward to catching up with everyone when we are home (mid-May).
Love Andy and Mel... full info
