camping Hi,
Great photos. I thought camping in Bhutan would be tougher than canoe camping, but with all the staff you take, maybe not. Perhaps one day we can introduce you to carrying your own kit, cooking on a campfire, and thunder boxes in Canada!

reply from William To Uncle Andrew and Auntie Mel, yes I like wearing my school uniform I like the picture on it. At my new school I want school dinners but am having packed lunches now. I got 10 stickers from my teacher and then I got to pick a treat from the treat box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you bounce down the mountain on your big rice bottoms? love William xxx
well this has made my working week ten times better!! How I so miss Andy's dry wit!! hehe! It sounds like you're on a right adventure - any recordings of the TV and radio show?
Amazing... You guys are so glamorous! Mel, if only you'd have told us in advance. I can guarantee there would have been a pretty large audience on this side of the world too... xxx
Jolly good show! Andy, Glad to see that Mrs BL isn't having to rough it (although, interesting to see that you didn't seem to be dressing for dinner - I take it porter number 5 couldn't manage the DJ/Balldress etc...). I'm hugely jealous. Shrivenham is much less shangri-la-like.
Keep the photos coming.
Does Bhutan Broadcasting Company have an iplayer?

Fab blog! This is great! We love it! Keep photos coming. All well here William started school so far so good. I will email you a photo! YOu are on our world map in the kitchen. much love from all of us Jen David and William xxx we miss you!
Question from William age 4 Dear Uncle Andrew and Auntie Mel,
When I saw this picture I asked my Mummy what would happen if you sat on the tip of the rock and fell off - where would you go?! Do you have parachutes? Love and hugs William xxx ps I have just started school and have not been told off (yet - Mum)
Response to William's question! (Andy's 4 year old nephew) Dear William,
It would have been a really good idea to have a parachute when we were sat on this rock, because it was a very very big fall if we slipped off. Luckily, we have eaten LOTS AND LOTS of rice and now we have enormous bottoms. So, if we landed on our bottoms it would be like landing on big cushions!
We saw the photo of you in your new school uniform and thought that you look very very smart! Do you like wearing it? Can you tell us about your new school?
It is very rainy today in Bhutan. We go to work on our bicycles so we are always very very wet and muddy!
Lots of Love, Uncle Andrew and Aunty Mel
What Wonderful Pics! Hey Mel & Andy
What absolutely brilliant pictures! Mel - I didn't know you'd been called up at the Archery competition - they obviously didn't realise you can't throw.
Will email again soon when I've been through all the pics (by the way the apartment looks much bigger than mine!).
xx
Hello Everyone!
We have left Bhutan... and now cycled over 7200km through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia (Sumatra, Java and Bali)! We are now finishing off our time in Indonesia and soon will be heading over to Australia.
We are really looking forward to catching up with everyone when we are home (mid-May).
Love Andy and Mel... full info
