Omanis are really friendly and its easy to blend in the crown if ur not too flashy or touristy. Very idylic and sometimes boring. Dont go without company. Guess what?? They have booze!! Well well. Finally here. Always wanted to find a girl I would Kill for, get on top of Eiffel tower and say this is it. Just did. We had a great time there, though the weather was depressingly cold and damp we found out own spots of happiness and warmth. Paris is indeed what everything on the package says. We were put up quite a distance away from the city centre but the transportation was a breeze and people were always ready to help. Easily the most beautiful of German cities. Pretty lanes, old buildings, the streams, the blooms and an old castle. To top it off its been a spa since the roman times boasting natural mineral water springs bang in the town! Apparently the maximum number of german millionares live here. And the only reason this bit of land was spared the hammering during the war was the French have decided to set up shop there for post war rule. Its really beautiful, take my word for it! Well Oman this time around. About four hours drive with a lot of stops for photos. Hotel was good and so were the people. Did a dhow tour, lil bit of trekking and getting wet in the rain. Saw lots of dolphins swimmin around, birds walkin around and people fooling around. It was freezing cold though and it was raining cats and dogs. We were waiting with our cameras for a bit of sunshine to get some good shots!! It kinda paid off, all the slogging in the mud and gettin drenched. Off again to our good 'ol Hafeet with Neeli and Matthias, friends dropped in for Christmas from Bundesrepublik. Climbed the rock, all the way to the top. Stopped by in the dunes and got grub at Abu Dhabi. Met up Tejas for touristy sight seeing. Thats pretty much it I guess. Missed having my girl around on this one.
