Didnt get much sleep on the bus, but the border crossing was pretty uneventful. Arrived in Bangkok in the evening and we treated ourselves to a nice western healthy burger king, and it tasted goood. Hi every1 now for my Cambodia installment, as its mine and Dans last day here before we head over the border to Bangkok. So I left off at the amazingly formal border crossing into Cambodia and down we went to Phnom Penh, a little crazy is this place, i fink i have seen 6 people on a moped so far. Dad, mother, baby in her arms, one kid sittin on the handle bars and the last 2 hangin on the back. Of course all with out crash helmets on. I could spend hours just sitting at the traffic light cross roads (although they dont use the traffic lights.) Got to our hotel #10 Lakeside, was cheap at $3 for 2 single beds in a room a night although i fink we had mice and more of ... read more

So i left off with me sortin the visas for Cambodia, after Me and Dan decided to do our usual city wonder to see wat was about, we found the Laos version of the ark d triumph, exactly like the french one but a little more oriental, was pretty nice but wat amazed us more was the giant bees nest that had been made there, it must have been atleast 4ft long and when i zoomed in with my camera we realised it was actually a livin swarm of bees, would not like to be the one that has to clean that at sum point. We chilled here for a while watchin the world go by then ... read more

Hello all has been a busy week once again for me & Dan, since we left Luang Prabang have now arrived into the capital of Laos Vientiane. So I left off with we had just arrived in Luang Prabang with the amazing food stalls and also the more strange delicacies available, like Cobra wine, cooked chicken heads and feet and not forgetting pig face. Still the food does taste amazing. Had a chilled day just walking around the city had an amazing sunset over the Mekong river, with a couple of beers and the next day we turned fitness freaks and did a 36km cycle to the waterfalls, was pretty hard going as there wer sum big hills but the down hill parts were amazing zipping through a valley, with rice fields and so much amazing ... read more

Hi all. Currently in Cebu City in the Visayas with sadly only a few more days left in the Philippines. Currently staying at a friends flat who I met in Palawan which is handy. So the last time i wrote i had one more nite left in Puerto Princesa, had a tower of power and a few Red horses(Philippino stella) was a good nite. So got my flight the next day from Puerto Princesa - Cebu City, pretty easy, got a cab from the airport, but be warned there is a taxi station which charges a considerable amount more than if you get a metered taxi form the airport, which I sadly found out. So my hint would be ask the guards to point you in the direction of the metered cabs. So arrived in Cebu ... read more
