proud:) hi there, mr. wells. i had fun reading ur blog and really glad to know that there are people like you who appreciated the beauty of Araceli. having foreigners in araceli is already a big thing for me and reading a heart warming blog like this is a bonus. :)
let me share to you my ambition about araceli. i want araceli to be a famous tourist destination. i really love the beaches and the islands. i even imagined buying the Mantolali Island (i guess it was the one where you guys had camp fired. it was really nice) and you know, building a resort, developing the beaches, etc. i definitely want araceli to be popular for good. also it would give employment for the local residents. a pretty good help for them too.
im really not a resident of araceli but i visit there atleast once a year. i hav a lot of relatives there and we have our own home. i guess you've seen it or atleast passed by there. it's the red one in the centermost of the town with Indian trees in front of it and a store beside it. i hope u've noticed it though. but would be fine if you haven't. :D
i've already heard before that there were few foreigners going there with a yatch. that's nice to hear.
im glad that you guys did had fun.
by the way, i've never seen you there bcoz im studying here in Puerto Princesa.
hoping for you to come back there and visit the islands of Calandagan which i think is a 2-hour travel from araceli main town.
bon voyage! =)
how to hi, i've been trying to look for travel blogs on how to get to some islands in Araceli, and this is the first one that i came upon. just want to ask, if you were able to visit the island called "calandagan"? this island is supposed to be the meeting place of "aswangs" local demons, but the island is supposed to be breathtakingly beautiful. thanks in advance.
sounds fun and we're off to cebu too! I think you should see Bohol as well ... although can't recommend anything cool to see 'cause it would also be our first time in that area.lols.we've been referred to a bohol tourist guide though.good day!cheers!
Great experience! We did the whale encounter on the morning of Feb. 23. It's really a great experience! We had fun spotting and swimming with the whales. Though can't remember how many whales we saw for 4 hours in the sea, all I can say is they were huge of about 4 meters to 10 meters long.

Hehehe It was a surprise, I did contemplate telling you, but I thought it'd ruin it for you! I loved that bit, it was great just dangling down and admiring the view :-)
Thomas is adorable, his little ear was all folded over, awwww!
I hate you, a lot! Thailand has declared a state of emergency, eeeeek! 3.5 months to sort it out though so I'm sure we'll be fine!

Damn, I wish i was there now! Couldn't think of anything better than getting baked and looking out into the desert or on an island!
I'm going to london aquariam this friday, and the science museum. Hopefully, if I take enough herbal remedies (which i will have plenty of), i'll feel like i'm there!
Best of luck to you bud.
