I have decided for sure that at the end of my time here I am doing a trip through Guatemala and then ending in Belize for some time. I will have to get all the best places from you. This is definitely something I think I could enjoy! ;)
"Don't be afraid to make mistakes, to stumble and fall, because most of the time the greatest rewards come from doing the things that scare you the most. Maybe you'll get everything you wish for. Maybe you'll get more than you ever could have imagined. Who knows where life will take you. The road is long and in the end, the journey is the destination." ~Whitey on One Tree Hill
So proud of you Netter. I know these personal defeats are huge... and they feel great. Congrats!
wow I'm so proud of you, Netter.
Way to take matter into your own hands and push fear aside to experience adventure!
We all miss you, and can't wait to hear these stories in person,
- Ilan
Love scurvy. Oh Netter. Please know that I've been thinking a lot about you lately. I myself had some tears lastnight. I will write you tonight or tomorrow. Waiting for after I tell Walter all my realizations from our chat, to write you.
Sorry to hear about your camera but congrats on your new purchase! Funny how much we love cameras and need photos huh? I take TONS and if I ever lost mine (or had it stolen like some of the teachers here have had) I would go insane. Love photos. Glad to hear you can continue taking them. I owe you an e-mail. Figuring things out first. Soon.
MangoBoat I want a man in a mango boat to come to me!
You're so lucky to have a mango boat man!
Miss you friend and wishing you all the sweet fruit you can get.
Missing you Hey Jeanette the worldly woman! :) I am so sorry I missed your birthday - and you remembered mine!! What a treat it was to receive your card in the mail, from so far away! That was exceptionally thoughtful. I've had trouble accessing your journals, and then finding time to read them, but I finally got caught up, and boy oh boy, you bring tears to my eyes! Such adventures, such beauty. The monkeys remind me of Brazil - I could be a tree in their forest all day! I'd like to be that little blue morpho on your back all day long, riding the crest of "incredible" times. Keep shining, my pal.
I think Belize is where I will do my 2 week trip before I come home. I feel as though it'll be a little pricier but I wanna do more scuba diving and have heard that Belize had beautiful diving. I guess we'll see. If I do, I'll have to check out this monkey place. Looks like you had a fun time.
monkeyyyys ok so they freak me out a little but theyre sooooo cute. belize sounds wonderful. keep up with the fun, ill be seeing you in just a few months!!! any suggestions about uganda??
love

Me Tooooo!! I am overwhelmingly excited to have found this blog!! I begin as Club02 Director for the Liberty on Wednesday March 14...soooo soon!!!
I have been trying to find someone to talk to about the experiences so I know what to pack, what to expect, how to prepare!!
My suitcases are overweight and I dont know what to take out. I want to bring stuff for my walls but I was told we can't stuck stuff up? I want to get a phonecard for my parents but I dont know which one? I hope to have internet but I wasnt sure if we had to pay for wireless?
Your blogs have gotten me so excited, I've had goosebumps for the past hour and a half while reading through these.
If you have any advice, pointers, suggestions, anythingggggggg before I leave early wednesday I would so appreciate it!! How much business casual should I have? How much crew party stuff? How much anything-casual? How are the afternoon uniforms? How cold are the ships - longsleeve versus short?
So sorry to overwhelm you! Though it sounds like you have ample email time throughout the day if the cruise isnt packed.
Many many thanks from one crazed-excited girl!!!!
Awesome. Still trying to decide where I should go when I finish school and travel for a few weeks. Belize is one of my options. Thins cave tubbing thing sounds unreal and makes me wanna try. lol... oh the options! lol
Welcome to my part of town! So glad you got a chance to check out Honduras. I know it's just a little piece and that we didn't even experience the same part of the island of Roatan, but still cool that you can say you were where I was! lol. Looks like you had a good time. The fish and corral are indescribable. Glad you got a chance to look at them. See any of Dory? They're called blue tangs. Quite a few out there. I was just pumped to say I saw Dory... lol.
An Amazing Experience Hey Jeanette: From a snow-covered life in Canfield, your experiences look amazing - I am soooo jealous!! Oh to turn the clock back a few years. I am sure there are days when you can't believe you're getting paid for this! Everybody is good here - busy with school, work, etc. Remember to cherish every moment and experience. Love, Aunt Katherine
I was totally thinking "Man, that room is pink!" then you said it yourself. Cute room. Looks cozy. Top bunk huh? Oh camp.
You're totally right in what you said in your letter. Reading your "people" section reminds me of how I feel a lot of the time. Is nice to have close confidents down here but no one TRULY knows you like those who have known you for years through many different situations. Comforting knowing they're there though huh?
Carpe Diem Netter.
Looks like you had a pretty eventful birthday... how long did your birthday celebrations last? Like, 3 days? lol... lucky ducky.
Sounds like things are going well. Love the pics. Can't wait to see your room!

I make and teach art. The rest of the time, I travel. After Spain, England, Uganda, California and years of tour guiding, it was time for the next big adventure. Working for Carnival Cruise Lines. I signed onto my first ship in December 2006. Sevent contracts and twelve ships later and I've been around the Caribbean, Central America, Mexico, Hawaii and Alaska.
What have I put my hard-earned cruise money to? More travel! Oct - Dec 08 I travelled around South Africa. Sept 2010 I went to Fiji which had been at the top of my travel list for years. Making dreams come true!
