After Munich we headed off for the actually relaxing part of our holiday. Greek Islands! We started off in Santorini and had 4 nights there. We spent a lot of time on the beach, we were staying on Perissa Beach which is black sand which was good and didn't get all stuck to you! We hired an ATV and did some exploring. Oia was awesome and was just like picture perfect post cards. We also checked out the Red Beach and went up a top of a hill which had a great panoramic view. We absolutely loooooooooooooooooooooooove Greek food and just couldn't get enough of it. It was very tough laying on the beach drinking Mojito's and having massages. We also found all of the people awesome too. We then ferried to Mykonos where we stayed ... read more

After a long day of training from Cinque Terre we didn't get into Nice until about 5.30pm. We went to a bizarre place on the beach for dinner that poured peanuts all over our table that we had to pick apart and eat! Was yummy though. We then went to a casino and sucked as per usual and just lost money. Bad enough at gambling let alone when everything is in French! The next day we just went for a wander around Old Town and explored ourselves and then stocked up on lots of goodies from the supermarket and had a real backpacker style picnic on some random church steps. We then went to the beach and had our first experience lying on a rocky beach! We had Indian for dinner because we were starting to ... read more

Dubrovnik in croatia was awesome. We had beautiful weather and spent a lot of time on the beach for the first time on our trip. We also did a boat cruise and got to jump off the boat into the beautiful ocean and eat lots of seafood. After Dubrovnik we headed to Zadar via Split which were all as beautiful. Next stop was Ljubliana which was surprisingly really cool. We also had our first hotel room since doing Contiki so loved that. Next was our final destination Italy, starting with Venice. Venice was great and we saw a lace making demonstration, glass blowing demonstration and cruised around canals on a gondola ride in style. We had yummy wine and bellini. We then headed to Florence where we saw a leather making demonstration (well there was no ... read more

We headed off from London and caught the Eurostar to Paris. Once we arrived in Paris we got a bit of a rude shock that nothing was in English and found it hard to try to figure out the metro. After going the wrong way twice but on the right line we finally made it to the Contiki campsite. We had 2 nights in Paris and ate snails, went up the Eiffel Tower (which we lined up for 3hrs, but was worth it in the end), went and saw a cabaret show (where Tim was pulled on stage twice to do a juggling act and a dance off) and then Vic proceeded to get very drunk and vomit all over herself. We loved Paris and the weather was very warm. We checked out all the tourist ... read more

We said goodbye to Hobart and headed to Melbourne to have a quick stop off with Bec and Chris. We had some great all you can eat dumplings and then headed off on the longest flight in the world to London! Were a tad scared we were going to be blown up with some men unnessarily standing around the toilet for a long time but made it alive! Headed straight to Dublin from London and pretty much just went straight to bed without dinner to escape the longest day in history. Dublin was great. Did a hop on hop off tour, went to the Jamieson Distellery and Guinness Brewery, hung out at Temple Bar and had bangers and mash and stew. We then headed off to Edinburgh which was crazy with the Fringe Festival on. Edinburgh ... read more
