Airport
Waiting at the airport after Ann not surprisingly stuffed up our flights! We said goodbye to Hobart and headed to Melbourne to have a quick stop off with Bec and Chris. We had some great all you can eat dumplings and then headed off on the longest flight in the world to London! Were a tad scared we were going to be blown up with some men unnessarily standing around the toilet for a long time but made it alive! Headed straight to Dublin from London and pretty much just went straight to bed without dinner to escape the longest day in history. Dublin was great. Did a hop on hop off tour, went to the Jamieson Distellery and Guinness Brewery, hung out at Temple Bar and had bangers and mash and stew.
We then headed off to Edinburgh which was crazy with the Fringe Festival on. Edinburgh was very picturesque and was crazy to just see castles on top of hills and mountains in the middle of no where. Our host George 'Pasni' Marshall was most hospitable and his house mates were also great. Went and saw Carl Barron and another comedy show and headed up the highlands to spot the Loch Ness Monster too! The last night got a bit
Dublin
Hop on Hop off tour in Dublin messy with egg shells as shot glasses and another crazy Tasmanian George, George Bailey joining us as well.
Then we said goodbye to our new friends and headed to London by train. Our first impression of the hostel was not the greatest with a crazy shirtless brazillian and having to walk up 6 flights of stairs to get to our room! We stuck it out though and met a nice American girl. We did a walking tour, went to Madame Tassauds, did a tour of Lords Cricket Ground, strolled along Oxford Street and 'flew' on the London Eye. We also went and saw a show, We Will Rock You.
We'll attempt to put some photos up now!
