This is the page of Nicola Henshaw, Kate Archibald, Ana Archibald, Daniel Painter, Jacqui Barber, Dave, Roneet Goundar, and Louise Harper on their pilgrimage to the cricket world cup in the carribbean via the states.

We'll try to update this page as often as possible with wonderful tales and drunken rants..(sorry to all our mothers). Some of you may feel like this is an easy way out from us dealing with email admin but rest assured most of the stories on here will be the uncensored versions (sorry again to all the mothers - and grandmothers, hi mama and nan).

Tour starts 29th March 2007 and we will return to NZ probably 5 kg heavier on the 30th of April... but at least we will have a tan

last night out Central America Caribbean » Barbados

so yesterday we started exploring Barbados a little more, this involved hoping on a bus to banks town then after ariving getting on another bus and heading to the beach, at this stage its fair to say that most of us are over looking at new sights so relaxation is the only thing on the cards. Well we have arrived safe and sound after a relatively drama free air jamaica flight from Grenada to Barbados. Havent seen a lot of Barbados yet, have not left St Lawrence Gap which is a touristy beachy place on the south coast full of bars, poms, and local men shouting "hello ladies". So our plan for today was to take the ferry to Carricau (spelling??) and spend yet another day relaxing on the beautiful white sand beaches, however it proved to expensive and was cheapert o hire a car for the day. It pays to know the locals as our now good friend Max hooked us up with one of our many contacts who gave us a car for the day for $70 NZ - bargain. Well whilst the Girls kicked back and had massages by some mystery "blind person", we decided to try and explore the island as much as possible within the day. Scooters were out intended means of transportation, so we left at about 1030am on the bus to what was our local scooter place. Well some of us made it to TV3 news if anyone was watching the day after the cricket. Dan and Ron are making some very switched on statements towards the end of this clip about the cricket result, they are the two drunks in black singlets. I think the rest of us may be visible walking past in the background when the two beige brigaders are being interviewed but cant get a high enough resolution screen here to check it out properly. Sun, sand and Black Caps!!! Central America Caribbean » Grenada » Carriacou

Sorry that we have been MIA for so long but since hitting grenada about 10 days ago we have been pretty busy catching some rays, sailing our yacht and meeting all of the men on the island. Odds here are ridiculous. It seems there arent a lot of single girls making the trip to the cricket world cup. Fools. Just thought we should report on our first near death experience on the trip. Lets just say never fly air jamaica. We took off from JFK at 7.30 in the morning bount for grenada and after circling around for about half and hour the pilot announced we would be returning to JFK as there was some problem with the flaps. Last day in NY, and the States...... crying. Well we all managed to make it to New York after a lot of flying and a few dramas. Nic, Lou, Ron and Jax flew from vegas to LA to meet up with the rest of the crew minus jenny who was flying out of vegas directly the next morning.
