Dreamchaser's 2016: Diving into New Adventures

Immediately upon returning from Dreamchasers 2015, I threw myself into a massive music adventure at home, spending eight months recording and co-producing a 13 track album. The project has been an enormous amount of work, but deeply gratifying because of the creative energy it produced from the 13 musicians involved in the production. I am very proud of the work, and look forward to releasing the CD when we return.

The change of pace will be very welcome. Although relaxation will definitely be in order for the first little while, we would not be true to our adventurous spirits if we did not plan to explore and continue to push the envelopes of learning: yoga study, Bahasa Indonesian language study, and striving for a new plateau with Ramblin Rose, my traveling guitar. Then, of course, there is the world of diving that were just introduced to last year, and with it new dive locations to discover in yet untravelled parts of Indonesia like northern Bali, and diving the world renowned magical manta ray gathering place, Flores. And there is all that biking to do, checking out rice paddies, beaches, palm trees, and pounding surf as we ride into the wind. Its a tough job.

O yes, forgot to mention one other learning curve. We acquired a new Go Pro video cam for this trip. Music videos. Diving videos. Biking videos. Wicked selfies. Now Stan - in addition to being my very efficient music manager and promoter during our travels, gets to become videographer as well. Lucky me. But first I will have to learn how to work that gidget. And I know just where to go to find a bunch of people who know. They hang out at dive sites and on on surf beaches. I hate when that happens.

Warning. If you follow us, you may be inclined to sell your soul to the travel gods like we did, many years ago. No regrets.
