Our first steps bring us to Bangkok after a long journey from Paris via Berlin and Abu Dhabi. Bangkok is a busy, lovely and charming place with lots of temple and history. It is a very hot and humid place. Be ready to sweat from your eye-lids! In terms of transport, there is 2 underground lines (RMT) and 2 skytrain lines (BTS) in addition of the river boats and tuc-tuc and taxis. Easy to understand and to apprehend, we have been able to try them all. For food, the best is to eat at the food market / stalls to eat with the locals. Local thai or chinese food: a pure treat! Rice or Noodles with plenty of vegs, fruits, tea and beer! You will find stalls selling octopus stick, chicken satay, crickets... Yes, crickets taste ... read more
