INDONESIA : Bali/ Nusa Lembongan/ Lombok

We started our RTW with a short stay in Bangkok - Thailand to start visiting Bali and Lombok in Indonesia.
This is the first part of our trip and we will have to learn a lot.
We already create some rules:
- Never accept or agree anything if someone approach you - most of the time they want your money and even with some negotiations you will always pay more. If you meed something, go and ask for it, otherwise your response should be a mo, thanks!
- Never go back on your step: we try to create a trip with good liaison to avoid going back and forth as it is a waste of time and money.
- When checking in hotel, hostels, guesthouse, home stay: always check the bed and linen, the toilet flush and shower head. Nothing more annoying than dirty sheet, toilets licking and no power shower! even if cold water only.
- Try to avoid room with Air-con, it can get very chilly at night. A fan is enough and better if you don't want to get sick.
- Always smile and don't get annoyed by hawkers: the best is to not reply, smile is enough... don't engaged conversation, waste of time and energy. Don't forget: you're are on holidays!
- Never pay in advance: just to avoid disappointment and frustration. Always pay on departure to allow negotiation.
- Meet new friend: you learn a lot this way and also may change your plan!
