how lucky are we Hi guys, this must have been such a powerful day, how lucky are we to have been born in this country. You just can't imagine the hell those people must have gone through. We went to see new moon tonight it was so good and we now have to wait till June to see the third movie Eclipse. Anyway is Leonie better now i hope so and are your legs all heald up Richard. It was so lovely to speak to you both on Sunday you both sound so happy and well i can't believe you've been gone 7 weeks. Stay safe and we all love and miss you loads love mom and dad Lucy Yan, Jonny and Sash and the bump xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Deeply Moved Hi darlings, I am deely moved by your photos and your account of your visit to the Museum. Most people are generally aware of the 'troubles' in the world, but never get the chance to witness the fallout/aftermath of such events. Chilling indeed. Check your email from me too. Love you both, Mum xx
What a different world! Dear Leonie and Rik,
Have been making the Christmas puddings and cake today. They are now steaming and baking away for the next 6 or 2 hours! As always, very interesting to hear from you about another part of the world. Sometimes when we feel very overcrowded here in England we need to think about other places. I think that Uncle Geoff, who is at the top of a very wet and windy Welsh hill at the moment, would have a nervous breakdown within an hour of being in Saigon. Hope that you get the needed paper work soon and are back into the wonderful countryside before too long. Love seeing all the photographs too.
Lots of love to you both,
Aunty Ann

Everything Changes Hi darlings, guess you country folk are in a culture shock being in Ho Chi Min City! it sounds a bit like Stroud on a bad day lol. Mind you, you have been in the countryside for a number of weeks enjoying the peace and tranquility, so the city life will seem a lot faster. Skype tomorrow kiss kiss
looks colder! Hi guys, Looks a bit colder where you are at the moment but very beautiful. Richard how are the legs are they healing ok? If you feel hot or fluey at all you must see a doctor straight away as it could be the beginings of septesemia remember what i went through. Well another week over at work we are trying to teach the children their xmas concert songs some are good some not so good. I'm (mom) off to a pre-school get together at the Bridge tonight and dad, Jon and Sasha are going to see 2012, Lucy is at work and we are going to see New moon on Sunday...can't wait. I'm still enjoying my singing and looking forward to our two performances if i can learn the words in time. Everyone is well and happy. We all miss and love you both loads. Email if you are going to skype at the weekend. love you mom xxxxand dad xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
nice to hear ya both ok(sort of) an that the venture is going so well wish i was there with ya, big time! try an stay in 1 piece and speak to you both soon. xxx
Sounds like you had a lucky escape! Ricky & Onie,
I hope Ricky's legs are OK, I remember when I was in Brazil & cut my knees, the antiseptic the local doctor put on it hurt much more than the accident! Anyway, just make sure you keep the wounds clean, but let the air get to them so the get the chance to dry up.
The waterfall looks amazing, it seems like there is a lot of waterfalls in that part of the world.
I did my enduro on Sunday, it was a sunny mild day but had been raining heavily the day before so the track was very wet - 23 Km of slippy feilds & woods, it was quite challanging, but I was doing well - completed 2 & half laps & then my engine blew (made a funny cracking noise & then stopped) so I had to push it about a mile back to the pits. Took it apart last night & half the piston has simply disappeared! So, £50 will get me a new piston, ring & small end bearing - hope thats all it needs!
I'll let you know how it turns out.
Luv
Dad

Elephant Waterfall,Da Lat Glad the outcome of your adventure was okay. Can't wait to see the photos of this location when you get the chance to upload them. The weather in the UK has been terrible, high winds, rain, and rather wintery generally, so to see you blog of the beach at the water park last week is inspirational, I have printed it off and just look at that instead of out of the window - thank you both for the sunshine!! take care of each other, much love, Mumx
Heya Hey guys looks like ur having an awesome time...just thought id remind u that there is an amazing place near nha trang called 'dalat' if u hear of it u should defo go its up in the mountains and u stay in a village and its just supposed to be beautiful...all we did really was beaches and citys in vietnam and i really regretted not seeing the countryside which is really the heart of vietnam...away from all the tourist traps etc....go there before u go to saigon and dont bother with mui ne if u were thinking of going there it was a waste of time just loads of big posh hotels and literally nothing to see. keep having a gud time n speak soon...lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
worth it in the end That beach looks like you're on Richard Bransons island... fab or what?
It was lovely to speak to you both on Sunday. Dad enjoyed his enduro but his bike broke about half way through it he thinks its his pistons, he arrived home covered in mud with achy legs. Jon is thinking of changing his course to script writing and film he will know if he's allowed tomorrow. Lucy is down at Yans. The weather is still dull wet and windy not much fun.
Loads of love to you both mom xxxxx stay safe xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
A Hard Life Yes is a hard life! tehe. The UK is being battered by 50 mph winds and rain, its cold, wet, miserable and everyone wishes they were not at work and in Nha Trang with you guys!! .........love you, take care of each other. Lovely Skype, speak again soon, Mumx
what a fantastic beach Hoi an looks fab and you both look really well. We all went up for aunties birthday on Sunday to the Bull at Shenstone it was really nice and auntie enjoyed it, can't believe she's 90. She told me that on her actual birthday Ron took her to The Black Eagle in factory road for lunch and its the same pub where when she was about 7 she used to have to go with a brown bottle and collect a pint of ale for her dad and take it back to the house for him. It must have felt really weird going back there 83 years later!! Her old house is still standing and she could see the window of the bedroom she was born in.
I (mum) had a fun day at the dentist having a root filling today and parting with £250 for the pleasure of it!! Dad is getting excited about his enduro on Sunday. Lucy and Yannick are upstairs watching a film. Sasha is well and is now 23 weeks and is at home. Jon is well and still enjoying Uni. Cathys dog Tippy died of kidney failure on Sunday Cathy was so sad she's had her a long time. The weather has turned cold and we light a fire now each evening. Miss you both so much can't wait till March you will be home, Theo will be here and spring will be round the corner!!
love mom and dad, stay safe xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I'm off to singing in a minute, i'm really enjoying it. Hopefully we will speak to you at the weekend let us know. Love you both so much, mom xxxxxx

The lovely Mr Watkins (you remember the x head teacher that used to come and read to the children) died last night, i feel so sad he was only 76 and a lovely guy, i'll really miss him.
