I got into Mendoza around 730 on sat. and got a cab to go and meet with Duffy Crane, who I was staying with. Well for those of you that know me well, you know Im very good at changing my mind ALOT. And that is exactly what I have done. After spending close to two weeks in BA attending spanish school the adventurer/fly fisherman inside of me is saying lets the hell out of this big city and enjoy the country for awhile. Finally, I got all the pictures up and going. This bloggin thing is no short task. Especially when you have to go to these slow internet cafes. Everyone is a little different, but they all have there computer problems. Im just getting used to it I guess. The last couple days have been pretty relaxed since the crazy weekend. Well, after a long 10 hr flight the plane touched down in Buenos Aires around 8:30 in the morning. After almost forgetting my fly rod on the plane I gathered my bags, cleared customs and met my taxi driver that was to take me the the spanish school. During my research of Argentina I read now people drive pretty wild and i got to exerience that first hand as we were doubling up in lanes and illegally weaving through traffic fof the better part of the drive. Well, NYC turned out to be a pretty good time. I seemed to have a constant woozy feeling in my head throughout the stay do to to much public transportation. Its non stop... crazy taxi drivers, unmarked trains, and the clean subway. Its not that I realy mind any of this, but to much to fast is no bien.
