Ok so... We left cuzco 2 days ago to head up to Aguas Calientes and stayed there for one night before heading up early in the morning to Machu Pichu. The place is amazing!!!!! And yes i did see 2 chinchillas.... It took me a bloody long time and led me to some random places but i just followed the poo and eventually crawled into a cave and found one, I have photos. ok so i havent written in a while. Internet has sucked for the last week so have a bit to catch up on. We met an auzzie guy named dan in Ica who caught the bus with us down to nazca where we flew over the nazca lines. Andy and I thought it was heaps of fun.. as for kent he felt rather ill and missed most of the flight. after that we went to a place in the middle of nowhere in the desert and saw some tombs and mummies and skeleton etc. Not really much else to do there [View Full Entry]

ok so we bused from lima to paracas, stayed the night and went on a boat tip out to the island and sa lots of seals and birds and the candelabra... not particularly exciting as there is sweet bugger all to do in paacas bu we are now in ica staying in a place nea huacachina. We met a wickd taxi driver called william at the bus station and he has been taking us aound ica, so far today he has taken us dune buggying and sand boarding which was he nuts!!!! sooooooo much fun, at the mo we are laxing [View Full Entry]

Hey all.. today we finally started to get into the swing of things time wise. Been a bit screwed up with how things were in B.A with their eating dinner at 10-11pm and not going out until about 2am but we seen to be ok now. Went through miraflores and then Barranco today, it was all pretty good. Our last day in Buenos Aires before we fly to lima. Went and checked out some argentine drummer last night. The show was brilliant!!! the whole thing is completely improvised with the band of about 20 going off what the conductor tells them to do.... best thing so far. we are all fairly tired and still not really used to the time over here. not that natural having dinner at 10pm but when in rome... Have to be at the airport early tomorrow as we fly out at 7am so not looking forward to that. [View Full Entry]

Had a great time today, went to the most impressive cemetary i have ever seen and payed a visit to Evita :) Been out with some of the people from our hostel. have met Poms, Germans, Dutch, Aussie Sth Africans, Welsh scottish irish and many many more. Planning on the zoo tomorrow and then catching a ferry to uruguay to have a look around there for a day. looks like we may also be going to iguazu falls on the way back. got some prices and its not that expensive but we are waiting to see how much money we have [View Full Entry]

woohoo, we have arrived safe and sound. set up in our hostel close to the waterfront. sorry if the spelling is awedul but have a keyboard with most of the letters rubbed off ;) Have already been ripped off but we are much the wiser haha. also as a side note we had mark ellis on our flight. soooooooooooooooooooooo different!!!!! for starters the driving is absolutely insane!!! apparently the white lines on the road mean nothing.
