"Your off!", How exciting!! Stay safe and have fun. Hope you get to see some of the game tonight. I know you are 'frying
bigger fish'. Thomas
Hey! Glad to hear you cleared the mountains and are now in the Golden State! Drive safely and enjoy a more leisurely pace as you continue southward.
Good turnout for the CRHA meeting last night...standing room only! No earth shaking news - just a good review of the year. A new board - minus Paddrick - was elected.
Bobbie's funeral will be Monday. I'll officiate at the graveside in Kent that afternoon.
Pat's recovered her sense of balance and health!
Thanks for the blog and we'll keep watching for yer news, pardner!
US 95 I've driven US 95 more times that I can count over the last forty years, and if you think the road is steep today, you should have tried it back when you drove through 22 switchbacks climbing White Bird Hill south of Grangeville. You're right about the heat though. There is a very nice campground east of Grangeville up the mountain and in the trees, but it's rather primitive. I pitched my tent there a couple of years ago and had a fine time.
Enjoying your reports. Keep 'em coming.

Hot Idaho Poor Nan has to listen to you complain about the heat !
Doesn't the heat make your old knees feel better ?
I bet you are happy about taking this wonderful trip.
I do love that picture 04 all the way back to the Mts.
Was that a sandy or a rocky beach on the right.
Tetons Remembered Gads, the last time I saw the Tetons must have been the summer of 1960. We drove to my great-grandmother's 90th birthday in Georgetown, CO and passed through this magnificent scenery. It is a sight for the eyes!
Your trip Paddy, I will try again to give a comment about your vacation. It has been fun to see where you traveled and the pictures are great. I am so glad that you and Nancy could make take this vacation without too many problems'

Grand Teton Hi-Ho Travelers,
Beautiful pictures. I look forward to seeing the magic you'll undoubtedly create with your Paintshop software. Give sister Mary and big hug for me when you're in Boise. Safe travels.
Love,
Marty
Good Samaritan A great story. Sounds like you kept an already bad experience (engine fire) from becoming a total loss.
I will have to make a note about Dubois, Wyoming. Another "travel to do."
I think you may have made some important discoveries on your journey. Perhaps you have actually located some of those promised "spade-ready Stimulus Package Projects" that seem to be so well concealed!
thanks Hi to you three
Just want to say that I'm delighted your trip is going well, you are dodging the rattlesnakes and life is good. I read your vinettes during my lunch, knowing I'm supposed to be hard at work, but what the heck, I'm the boss here. Happy Trails
Jon
Sounds Like Fun!! Paddy,
Sounds like things are going great. I love the picture of Nan and Shaddy under the shade.
Glad it going well. The country looks very interesting.
Things are well here. Work and working to play.
You'll be home before we know it.
Travel safe!

Mt. Rushmore Paddy:
Glad you are having another good travel adventure. Gosh you are now a long way from home! I am so glad you are on this excursion and blogging about it.
Doesn't look like they have made a whole lot of progress with the addition of President Reagan to Mt. Rushmore!
Thanks for sharing ur experience. We have been to the rally 3x. Came across ur blog researching the 2009 Surgis rally facts. Enjoyed ur comments. U have a great name. Stay safe Paddy Mac O'Reilly.NY-NY.
I enjoy traveling and photography in the USA and Canada. In 2009, my trailboss and I upgraded from a lightweight, fold-out, tent trailer to a more comfortable 5th wheel with slideouts. Retired, we spend winters in southern Arizona, and summers in the Pacific Northwest. We are old, retired, on social security and medicare. Push button camping is more suited to our condition.
Many of my "wildscapes" images are offered for view and sale at my online gallery; NW Exposures. And I enjoy writing about our travels and photo safaries.
