After yesterday dinner discussion, we planned to go for island where Tien's brother own a resort, so I am responsible to go to fish market with Tien, Kwan, Yui and Thorsten to get fresh fish, prawns, squids, crabs, etc. to give to chef to cook for us. The idea came up with a chilling wine picnic with May at Lumpini Park, easy quick beach trip plus visiting Tien at Phuket so we discussed with Joe and organized the flight tickets with Bangkok Airway for 3,800 bht. 2 Friends arrived a day before (Kwan & Yui), then follow with three of us (Joe, May, Kay) then a german friend (Thorsten) who arrived at the same time by bus since the ticket is fully booked, and then one guy (Pong) who came with his afternoon flight. After Johan arrived Bangkok, we would like to go travel somewhere together. Our plan was to go to Chiangmai - Pai and/or Chiangrai. Since I really love traveling by train so I offered to go to Chaingmai by train.. but after checking weather news, weather seems to be bad during this time. Warning of storm, heavy rain, mud slide including 3 schools closed has changed our mind. Discussed with Johan and came across with Macau where we rushed through for one day in our 2004 trip. Took a short trip to visit Eric, my friend in Chantaburi, quiet laid back town, where people selling fruits and manage gems market. Just an hour from Ban Pae, Rayong, you will reach this Chantaburi. I think Chantaburi is nice relaxing town. Since it's songkran, water festival, Thai New Year, Finally all members in family can gather together for a day trip.. Dad - Mom - Pat (my younger sister) - bambi (2 months chihuahua) and me.. We didn't really plan where to go at first we was about to go to pattaya but there were so many cars, many people, since we tried to avoid "the water war", we decided to drive further to Rayong province and cross to Samet Island.. so bad that Simon, P'Koong and Bilbo are back to Koenkane for holidays.. Time's fly.. finally last day.. I didn't book anything yet.. but I had to get back today.. since I have to go to work tomorrow.. Plus N.K. & Terje planned to get back to phuket and bangkok today.. and Tiean will go back today too.. so everybody will go back today.. so no point for me to stay in phuket another night.. Second day.. boat trip.. woww.. nice.. unlike yesterday.. today we decided to visit another area.. Long beach.. Rumrudee beach.. along the way to Natural resort.. and snorkeling around bamboo island.. it was fantastic.. wow.. so bad I couldn't take underwater pictures.. so many fish.. cute butterfly fish.. swimming next to each other.. so beautiful.. and romantic, well I mean the fish are romantic couple.. unlike human being.. it's all pretending.. well let's skip the broken heart part of my life.. so bad I do not have many pictures for today.. had so much fun.. didn't take much pictures.. coz [View Full Entry]

Got Terje's call when I was in shower.. mentioned that they got boat to leave at 10 am so I should walk to their hotel area before 10.. It's a long walk from my place to their place..
