This morning we made straight for the famous Portobello Markets in Nottinghill. We had originally planned to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, but it quickly became clear that everyone wanted more time at the markets, so we agreed we catch the guards when we return to London on the 5th of January. Everyone enjoyed browsing the many stalls selling antiques, food, real Christmas trees, clothes and jewellery. Today was a much colder day in London; far more typical of a London winter. This afternoon we attended the British Museum where we learned much about many of the most significant pieces housed in the museum.
