Greetings! Monday we returned to civilization and flew to Singapore following a rewarding, week-long animal-watching extravaganza in the jungles, rivers and coastal islands of Borneo in the Malaysian state of Sabah. First stop was Selligan aka Turtle Island, a tiny barrier island fifteen miles off the east coast of Borneo that happens to be the most active nesting ground for endangered hawksbill and green sea turtles in the world.
