| 20th April 2009 Cookiek | Food! - From: Further Adventures in Rajasthan See, I never understand how most travelers come home thinner than when they left! My husband and I are having the same problem in China; fantastic, cheap food is doing no good for our figures, we will have to be rolled off the plane when we arrive home! I think I will have to go on a diet prior to my trip to India, lord knows how much food I will consume! |

| 24th March 2009 kushal | great! - From: And Now For Something Completely Different: Our First Week in India hi guys! welcome to India! it is indeed great to read these kind of reviews about India - most of the reviews that I came across were all focused on the negatives of India - but I really liked the way you have presented things and shown interest in India and its culture. It is indeed a pleasure for Indians to have guests like you and I look forward to direct interaction if you need any assistance during your travel. Have a great trip ahead. Cheers! kushal [kushal500 (at) gmail (dot) com] |

| 8th March 2009 Keith and Pete | catching up on your adventures, - From: Animals A'Plenty: Muddy Adventures in Borneo I am reading your past entries, and this one is especially nice! I always read with interest, but now it is with envy. The turtle hatch was one of the things I dream about. I worked with a sea turtle conservation group in the "exotic north carolina" and always dreamed of being on an tropical beach in the south pacific, drinking my beer, and having turtles emerge out of the sand! And to have seen the old girls laying!? Y'all are lucky. Still reading with interest- Stephanie |
| 8th March 2009 Keith and Pete | worth the dangerous hike to the gorge! - From: Not A Cloud in Sight in China's Yunnan Province Your description of people watching in Lijaing is good! If it is true that "the photos don't due justice" then you two must have seen unbelievable sights, because your photos are exceptional. I rated some. Thanks for taking us to the gorge. |

| 7th February 2009 Z | hue. hoi. hi. - From: History and Haute Couture in Hoi An and Hue perhaps in my excitement about the reality of a place called Hoi, I failed to notice that all the pic labels with the word Hue were referring to a place. susan just pointed out that you were not indeed calling attention to the color balance of the shots. I will read more carefully next post. but great hue in these shots. love the faces of the people here. s wants to know how the 15c beers are. |

| 21st January 2009 Julie Engbloom | I wasn't kidding - From: Highs and Lows in Cambodia So, I hadn't checked in on your travels for awhile, but I was compelled to when I read a recent New Yorker article about a couple, one of who was on a sabbatical from her law firm the other a drug mule (ok, it's not a perfect match, as far as I know), who met in Tibet, got married, told their lives back home to forgeddaboutit, traveled the entire Asian continent, probably 50 times by now and have become famous writers of cookbooks. Alright, I think you can pick another genre, but I do think there's something in this for you. Here's the link: http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2008/11/24/081124fa_fact_kramer And now, back to my life, having just billed 60 hours in four days. Aww, c'mon, I know you miss it. |
| 20th January 2009 Tina | - From: Highs and Lows in Cambodia We must have gotten lucky when we were in Cambodia because there weren't too many people there with us! We loved Ta Promh too. So cool. |
| 1st January 2009 louise | Happy New Year - From: Vacation from Vacation on Thailand's Andaman Coast Hoping that you are enjoying every minute except the typical meltdowns we all have; life is good here. We just got back from Pacific Grove with Christopher and baby and Jennifer...great fun and the weather was fabulous. Your parents and we hope to get together before they leave. They are pretty ensconced in Anacortes as you know. And the weather has been difficult to figure with snow these last 10 days! Lindsay is in New Hampshire with her "boy friend"...such a silly term but I am not sure what to call a 34 year old. My great wish for us all is that you stay safe and upon your return will have an evening for those who love and miss you so that we can hear the long version. Some, I for one, will want the looooong version and will camp there for days. Much love to you and Jub! Auntie Lou |
| 14th December 2008 anonymous | - From: Sight- and Hip-Hopping in Peninsular Malaysia It is more than a pain the neck to admire the Petronas Towers. It was a pain in the back for me. I literally bent over backwards at the base of the towers to admire the gleaming towers. My jaws dropped open due to the reverse back stretch and in awe. |
| 13th December 2008 Kevin | Merry Christmas - From: Sight- and Hip-Hopping in Peninsular Malaysia Loved the narrative and the pictures. I am doing my Christmas cards. Where should I send yours? It must be the only produce that has not been imported to the US...Thank God! Lindsay went to Singapore with my Mom many years ago and was shopping in a jewelry store when all the sales ladies were giggling. When asked why they were so amused they said it was the first time they had ever seen a person with diamonds on her teeth{braces}. She loved it there. happy Thanksgiving!!! We love you guys. |
