Sept. 19 So I am really sorry guys I cannot get my pictures downloaded anywhere and when I do get them working it is very time-consuming so I prob. won't have a lot of pictures on here. Dustin I can't get the one's you sent downloaded. Anyhow, this is a very beautiful city. We met two girls from Belgium today, yes Dustin real Belgium people. Sept. 16 We took a night bus to come to Brussels, Belgium. It was loud and packed therefore we did not get any sleep and we were exhausted when we got here in the morning. We also got lost for almost 3 hours when we got into the city so we were q little tired and grouchy We did end up going to the market place. The buildings were spectacular. we seen the town hall (it was a huge tower) and many beautiful palace like buildings made in the 1600s. Sept. 12 I SURVIVED AMSTERDAM!!!! We spent three hours in a bus station waiting for our bus to arrive and then had an 11 hour bus ride. We are now in Berlin. We haven't done much yet but so far it looks very much like Toronto or Calgary. It is very Americanized. Sept. 13 I have decided Berlin is a very cool and educational city. We went on a walking tour. Sept. 9 We were exhausted because we had absolutely no sleep last night. We went to Haarlem on a train and stayed there for the night Sept. 10 We took a bus to Zandvoort which is a beach town where the beaches run for miles and mile along the west coast of Ireland. We walked for miles and miles on the beach and accidently walked across a nude beach. We were a little shocked. Sept. 8, Since there was no place to stay in Amsterdam, we had to go out to a campground outside the city. We stayed in a hut no blankets, no showers, no heater, no nothing. We called it our "shitty shack." Although the campground was very nice. None of us got any sleep, we froze. We took everything we had in our backpacks and wrapped it around ourselves and had no sleep. It was fun but cold. [View Full Entry]

Sept. 7 We flew into Amsterdam. It is like a whole other world here. Everything that is illegal in Canada is normal here. Everyone smokes pot on the streets and there are beggars asking for money, drugs and anything else they can get. It is unbelievable. I can't even explain it. We went to the red light district and there are hookers in every window and pimps by every door. I must admit, a little scary. Sept. 6 Since that town wasn't that exciting we decided to take the first bus out to Wicklow City. Good Choice!!!! It was absolutely beautiful. It is right on the east coast We did a farley long hike along the coast. There were alot of cliffs going down to the ocean and farely rocky. The hike ended at Wicklow Head where there was a huge tower an old light house and the new light house. Sept. 5 We got up early to go to Wicklow county. Our hostel ended up being way out in the boonies. The bus driver dropped us off at the closest town which was 14km away from our hostel. So we were a little confused as to what exactly to do. We were thinking of hitch hiking but chose not to as it looked like it may rain. So we walked around the town asking everyone how on earth to get out there, nobody really new of the best way. We finally stopped in a pub and decided to take a cab. [View Full Entry]

Sept 3. We went to Limerick, well took a taxi out of Limerick to its suburb Castletroy. ok place a little dirty, it is the crime capital of Ireland. The taxi driver thought I was pretty funny when I asked him if we could tour a castle we went by which he informed me was really the town jail and an asylum. The house and yards in Castletroy were huge and very rich looking. The place we stayed was also very nice, we each had our own room with our own bathrooms, it was actually a little apartment or flat.
