Chinese wine has been around since ancient time and wine culture is very strong. Wine has been mentioned in historical records, poems and has been used for drinking, cooking, religious ceremonies etc… White wine is more popular in North China while the south prefers yellow wine. Beer and grape wine are also produce in China now. Some international renowned Chinese brands are MaoTai, Wuliangye and Qingdao beer. In addition, there are possibly thousands of other brands in China. Some of the wineries with good brands or long history have set up their own wine museums or allow factory visits.
