Hello again, After 6 weeks of badgering, it is now Crozza's turn to write the blog... Arequipa After Machu Picchu we managed one more night in Cusco before jumping aboard a plane to Arequipa, Peru's 2nd city and a very pretty one at that. We spent the first day chilling, Lee and I went for a romantic meal where we were serenaded by some fellas with panpipes, charangas and a guitar while we got blitzed on Pisco Sours - a lethal bevvy containing strong alcohol and egg. Don't worry, it tastes better than it sounds and after a few I was sufficiently mentalated to buy a CD from the band. Only thing missing is a CD player - am excited for the M62 car journeys already.
