I sit here in Saco, Maine with the rain beating on the roof (that doesn't want to end) and look at these beautiful pictures -- I have the urge to book a ticket and visit you right now! You are on an amazing excursion. Imagine the difference if you had done this right of college versus now, very different levels of appreciation. Keep the photos and tales coming. nr
Roma.. This is a trip I have had in my mind for the LAST 8 years of my life. Less than one year I can take it! I love it even more, thank you for sharing with me:)
Drink a glass of that Italian red wine for me. Or two, or even three?
Wow, what a great looking hotel! I bet the wine was yummy. Thanks for all of the postcards...they are all on our fridge. We miss you-but it looks like you are having a great time. Christy, you look absolutely beautiful in all of these photos. Europe agrees with you and your HAIR! XXXOOO Christa
Now this is a trip... How brave of you to rent a car in Rome! I do like the idea of driving out to Tuscany and it looks like you found some fabulous place. I am amazed by your trip and the new adventures that crop up every day! Your giving me the urge to plan my own adventure! Thanks.
Just returned from Tuscany Ciao!!! My husband and I just returned from Tuscany and the Italian Riviera. I wonder if you were there at the same time? We were at a Villa just outside of Florence in a town called san casicone for a wedding and then went to Portofino, Cinque Terre, etc. Tuscany is one of my most favorite places in the world...the food, the wine and the beauty of the country is almost unspeakable. Oh, and my allergies were so bad that I had to run around with a box of kleenex the whole time I was in Tuscany!
Glad you're having so much fun. Keep the photos and details coming!!!
xoxo

The journey continues . . . As many of you have predicted and requested, the traveling and the travel blog continues. I'm heading back to London with a three month ticket. I have no plans yet, just a bunch of ideas, but I'm looking forward to seeing where I end up and enjoying my last hoorah before going back to a mortgage paying US Citizen again.
