Jeffery Christy,
Is there an address we can use to send a donation to Thompson? Money, notebook paper, pencils, books???? That's what I took to Israel, and the kids flipped out for school supplies! Love and Light!
great job Christy,
Thank you so much for all the wonderful e mails. I feel I traveled
with you. You are a great writer, which I didn't know before.
You are my brave, brilliant and beautiful sister-in-law.
:-)

Smiles Christy, that is truly a special day. It is so humbling to see how they live in simplicity and can still smile as they do. I am sure you will never be the same. Thank you for sharing. Miss you here in London.
FACINATING!! FACINATING!! FACINATING!!! Living vicarously through you while sitting at my desk. You lucky girl to have such wonderful experiences with your travels! xoxo KB
Oh show me a home where the buffalo roam... .... and I'll show you a dirty house! Hi Christy, fabulous blogs and photos... you have turned this into an amazing storybook that is being shared with my son, and because it is real, it becomes an inspiration for both of us (as well as all of your friends and family, certainly). We are having our Inidan Summer now in San Francisco and the Peninsula, and the wild life here is just the usual politicians going ape and acting like hyennas. Stay healthy and centered.
Love the giraffes.. I think the giraffes in the video were playing 'who can lean the hardest?' but that's just me.
I love the pictures, especially of the giraffes, they are my family dont'cha know. (the height thing :D)
And yes, I am pretending that you're still there. xxx
A new Doctor Are you suggesting that a trust be formed to send Tumani to school? Seems like it would be small potatoes especially if all of us on this blog list chipped in just a little bit of bucks on an annual basis...something at least to think about.
Keep It Up Girl!!!! What a wonderful blog. So enjoyed see the animals of the jungle and your added humor. I'm certainly glad you didn't show any snakes. They are useless and I even hate earthworms. Keep enjoying!!!!!
Love,
Uncle Dick & Aunt Mary
WOW Amazing pictures. I love the 'playful zebras' one. I think the zebras are so striking. They are some of my favourites.
Ooh, no you can't tell it was taken through a chain link fence. :D.
WOW Amazing stories and photos. The $15 a day was really touching and reminds me of a local organization in the Bay Area called Room to Read. www.roomtoread.org
They have scholarships for students in 3rd world countries including Africa.
At last... This is the blog i was waiting for. It sounds like a very interesting experience. Glad everything is working out ok for you and look forward to more from Africa. Keep safe!
Great as usual Christy - thank you for sharing. This is great information and gives me the flavor of what you do and of the country. It has to be an eye opener everyday and I am sure its full of challenges. Thanks for all those great stories.
What a profound journey I've been so wrapped up in my own life that I haven't been able to travel with you until this set of pictures and your write up. $15 dollars a day puts this all into perspective. Wow. Thanks for taking us along in your travels. Love, Harry

The journey continues . . . As many of you have predicted and requested, the traveling and the travel blog continues. I'm heading back to London with a three month ticket. I have no plans yet, just a bunch of ideas, but I'm looking forward to seeing where I end up and enjoying my last hoorah before going back to a mortgage paying US Citizen again.
