saints day hi christy
in italy they do the saints day too. if you are named after the saint you get to celebrate that day, special pastries, everyone congratulates you etc. also in italy they go crazy with fireworks and you can get the big gnarly ones at the market. people also like to just shoot thier guns into the air, ahhhh. have fun-
Lucky Duck Hey, you are soooo lucky you got to see the Dali House. I am definitely going to do that one the next time I'm there. It's fantastic! You certainly are having a ball girl and i'm just the teeniest bit envious... so.. so console myself I booked some flights to France today. We'll have 4 nights in Mougins. Stayed at this villa before and it's gorgeous. That will mean we've been back to our two favourite places this year.. and usually we never go back anywhere...
Keep the blog going girl.. can't wait for the next installment.. esp with the dolphins.

Wow! What a great trip!! Dali's house looks unreal (no surprise there). I'm off to the Basque region in August, and it will be my first manual car experience -- reading about you and Pepe has given me hope (and trepidation!) Looking forward to your next post!
Very quaint little town Cute! Yes, and happy fourth to you as well over yonder!! Spain is truly beautiful. If you get the chance, Spain is one of the worlds leaders in olive oil production. Find a great vineyard and watch how they press the oil from the olives. Very interesting and Spanish olive oil rullllez!!
Dali is sooo amazing!! He is one of my favorite artists of all time. You're VERY lucky to see this museum!! Keep travelin' lady, love to see through your eyes!!!
Hey sister - Christy - so good to hear and see you enjoy Spain....such a fabulous country. Hoping to see you there soon. Still have great memories of our time in London - enjoy every second Soul Sister..........Love HJ x

HAHAHAHAHA Christy, I could not stop laughing at the visual of you on the back of Wyatt's "moped". Considering it is one of my husbands friends, I can only imagine the lunch you had...and yes the Sagrada Familia is simply astounding! It looks much like the last time we were in Barcelona a couple of years ago. So glad you were able to enjoy the sites, but more importantly the people. Ciao Bella!
Hey Christy, Looks like your trip is turning out to be amazing! Thanks for keeping on your blog list. Look forward to seeing you upon your return.
Best,
KIM

Thank you! Christy, thank you so much for sharing your travels. I'm sitting in my dull office in Palo Alto reading and looking at your exciting travels and living vicariously through you. An update to your travel blog always perks up my day. Thank you! Ellen
Look at you! HI,
I'm not sure if you remember me or not. We met in Santorini on your adventure last year!
I am so jealous that you are off doing this again! I would have loved to have made another trip this year, but I don't think that is going to be happening for awhile!
Good luck on your travels and I hope you continue to have a fabulous time! I love getting all of your updates.
If you are ever in Seattle, look Shandi and I up!
Take Care!
Jenny

The journey continues . . . As many of you have predicted and requested, the traveling and the travel blog continues. I'm heading back to London with a three month ticket. I have no plans yet, just a bunch of ideas, but I'm looking forward to seeing where I end up and enjoying my last hoorah before going back to a mortgage paying US Citizen again.
