Just wanted to say
Just wanted to say what a great blog you have here. Some great tips. My computer just died and I was worried I wouldn't find it again... But here it is... Many thanks for sharing, I am heading to SA in May and some of your advice is priceless!

I was hoping you'll write a new blog soon!. I'm looking forward to the rest of them and hoping for a summary blog at the end of it, they are my favourite! ;)

A hot time in the old town...
Brilliant move to hang out and enjoy reading, the cinema and each other! Great photos under that beautiful, blue sky, but yikes--40 degrees in the winter! I love your summary of Nicaragua's highlights, and that we/you get to still enjoy your travels. Happy new year!

hey
Hey Tara, thanks for reading as always:-) yeah now when we are in the grey and rainy England we can see the beauty of these colours even more!!! ah the 40C would not stop us from doing anything today haha But at that time it was the right thing to just relax and enjoy! Happy New Year to you too and we wish you loads of great months on the road to come!!! B7T

GRENADA
Our daughter was only talking today she's considering Nicaragua in 3 months time so your blog is timely. Love the vibrant colours and you write as if you enjoyed it. Do I perceive a recommendation?
14th October 2013

hi
Absolutely - we really loved the overall experience. The Corn Islands are still on our mind so please do recommend her this place:-) cheers, B&T

It's taking longer to post your blogs...
but please keep it up! I love reading about your adventures. You have a great attitude about adversity on the road.

hi
yeah definitely we are very behind but work is taking majority of our time but hoping for improvement soon:-) cheers, B&T

Excellent stories, advise and photos!
You two certainly are lucky in coming across random festivals (here and Copacabana)! I loved Melanie's story, especially the fruit cart woman--an everyday hero. As usual, I love your accepting attitude toward things we can't change--should be the motto for all us travelers. Nicaragua looks great--so glad you're still posting!

Hi Tara
We wish we could blog more often, really and we feel bad we cant find time but live here 'after' is just crazy mad haha All great and we cannot complain but nothing when compared to the freedom of being on the road. Keep your journey going as long as you can and enjoy:-) thanks for your lovely comments, B&T

Wonderful travel spirit!
Great photos, especially that first one. I so love your traveling spirit: going to fab places others are afraid of and finding it fantastic, remembering the best in places visited, exploring up volcanoes, lakes, etc. You whet my appetite for Nicaragua and a cuba libre!

Monkey business
Once had a monkey grab a bag of medicine from my hand in Tanzania...chased it some distance before it tossed it aside. Very different to have one open a backpack, remove a banana...and say thank you. Great yarn.

I agree with D&MJ, I thought it was a much more serious case of robbery. Glad it was only a little trickster. ;)

hey Michelle
sorry if we got you worried....it was just a twist but we are also glad we had no real problems:-) B&T

Border Crossing in Costa Rica - I can SO relate!
This had to be one of the worst border crossings EVER! We had our car and, because of some paperwork SNAFU, we had to wait 8 hours to cross - not fun! Loved your blog and the pictures are amazing - can't wait to read the next installment!

Thank you;-)
yeah will remember this place for long, no doubt:-) really appreciate your lovely comment. cheers, B&T

Ok, you reeled us in with that one!
Too funny. Sounds like you had sloths a plenty. Ah, the joys of reggae and the Caribbean. Glad you continue to have fun. Be safe.
