Chow our landlord came and picked us up to take to the airport around 4am. We settled our bill and said goodbye to Robert and Dad and were on route to the airport. We had a massive journety ahead of us. 33 HOURS!! The flight into Bangkok was simple enough, but at the airport it was absolute chaos. So many people there and so much confussion with getting our bags for our next flight. After a wait for our bags and nearly having a bout with some iranians we were off again. Our trip was coming to a rapid end!! Today we went with Toto to Patong. Laura and I head off to do some shopping and get a few bits and bobs!! Robert and Dad did the same but seemed a bit lost without us so we met back up and went down to the beach to show Robert. We got caught in a rain storm again and hid in one of the beach bars. Today was an action packed day. We arranged to do all the tourist attractions in Phuket. Our taxi man Toto picked us up early and we were taken to the an elephant centre. We went in and had a little look at the artwork produced by the elephants and talked to some of the large elephants. Next in twos we went on an elephant ride. It was cool riding around this little village, where we also had a view of a giant buddha on the top of a huge mountain. Whilst on the trek the lady mahout made a flower ring from banboo strands and a cricket which was impressive, and showed us around a rubber plantation. Today all of us went for a trundle down to the far end of the beach, I brought the fishing rod to later catch some sharks. We gathered a few sun loungers and chilled in the sun, and had a chat for a few hours. For dinner there was a tiny hut which hadlarge matts on the sand with small roofs over. All four of us sat on the floor and ordered some Tom Yum Kung, which varying colours of Fanta, it was delicious. After dinner Robert and I hunted for small crabs on the beach to use as bate, it was almost impossible at first but with some practice caught a few and stored them in my pocket for safe keeping. We all had a massage on the beach, and had a chat chilling in the sun. Had a swim all day with Robert in the sea, played some American football, and caught some crabs and used them to do some more fishing. Laura became a book worm with her newly aquired book, "Eclipse". Around tea time we had a bit of a rain storm so bought some beers for the bungalow and headed home to relax.
