On our last full day in the big apple we headed upton to the shopping area. On our way to the subway we had our first celeb spot which was none other than our own mark "iranoo" Lamar. Ok so he's no a list celeb but we were happy with the spot!went to rockafeller centre first then on to Lauras favourite Tiffanys!saw lots of pretty jewels but Didn't buy anything though unfortunately!went to bloomingdales which was overwhelming then saw a puppy store, wanted to take them all with us but don't think Dylan would have been impressed!had a lovely picnic in central park in an area called the mall. After our breakfast, bagel, muffin and an orange we took the subway downtown. Ground zero was our first destination, the space of ground was huge and so were the surrounding sky scrappers, and the new plans our outrageously big!!! Walking to Battery park we passed Wall st and 'the bull', surrounded by Japanese tourists with technologically superior camera's!!! Got on the Liberty ferry which was cool and the best view of the Lady herself. We chilled on the island with some potato chips. After wewent on to Ellis island, found some Welsh Edmunds's but Laura didn't want to pay the5 bucks to scan then main archives! Back on the mainland a lady asked me to Photograph her bump onher head so she could sue the city!! We jumped on the subway and headed to union square ... read more

Booked into our hostel (Chelsea International)then went straight to Madison square garden to watch the Knicks! Game was TIGHT, but the Knicks won 108-103. Cheerleaders were good and 'half time heave' dunk a half way line ball and win 1000 bucks. After we went for beers and nachos. The next day we headed to central and went to Macys, after we went to the Empire state building and let's just say I had sweaty hands!!!!!! I made it to thetop though and took photos so I'm well chuffed! Later we checked out Times square which was amazing, we saw a naked cowboy and cowgirl , disturbing or impressed, still unsure!! In the night the hostel was pizza night so we chilled with beers and pizza!!... read more
