After breakfast we had a walk along the beach had a little paddle in the sea then chilled at Indigo Pearl with some fresh fruit and water. In the evening we watched the sunset and then watched a bit of TV.... read more

Wow! We woke up to a day of Rain! Not a common occurence. It was a real breathe of fresh air, ideas of standing in the rain naked were in my head but some may have found it completely inappropriate! Laura went on her morning run in it quite happily. But most of the day we stayed in. Fried egg on rise was dinner and it was scrummy! In the evening Laura attempted to make Pancakes. This was not a success to put it lightly, there were arguments for some time as our egg allowance had been completely blown......... read more

Another day in paradise! Life has become so relaxed and the routine has become far from boring! What a peaceful and tranquil life the Thai's live here. Who needs money! We did another food shop on the moped, straight to the market and bought lots of fine grub for pennys! Later in the night we snook into Indigo pearl to make some contact with the rest of the world, sent some emails, and let the family know that we were still alive!... read more

After our standard routine of Laura's early run whilst getting chased by packs of wild dogs, and my anciet fitness regime, we head out on the bike for a bit of a run in the sun. Later we sampled the delights of a different little food stall near our bungalow, we had some various rice dishes and some strange milkshake with oats or something in it, both of us were bloated beyond imagination! After breakfast we did some hand washing in a bowl out on the balcony in an assembly line ; becoming a proper local! After our chores we jumped on the Honda and zoomed off to the beach! We lapped up some more sun and had some beers at one of the beach shacks. For dinner was a really nice omlette, and a salad, courtesy of miss Laura, with the eggs fresh from one of the scrawny chickens running around outside! It was delicious!! I was still unwell so I chilled out in the bungalow while Laura went to be an explorer! She came back and made us a nice chicken and bacon pasta dish with the rest of the meat, and in the evening we just relaxed with loads of food, and Laura indulged with some Chang!... read more

The sun never seems to cease! We head down to Indigo pearl for our daily relax. Hours lounging in the sun and lots of water later, we head home for a late lunch. We bartered for some meat at the local market and had some bacon and chicken sandwiches. Later we had a relax out on the balcony before the man eating bugs turned up around 9. ... read more
