I am thankful for Life. I am thankful formy family and what they do for me, of course without them I would be nothing. I am also thankful for my friends that i know are true to me whither they are talking to me or others about me I know the ones who only say the positives about me. I am thankful that I have an oppurtunity for a great education and house with food everyday. Alot of people dont but to us its just an "everyday" thing that we dont see how grateful we should be. Rihla 27:SIUC I would like to be involved in any clubs which include fashion styling. They have Fashion merchandising and fashion design asmajors, whichi will be chosing to be apart of. I enjoy the history of how fashion has changed and why. I also enjoy styling diffrent outfits and colors to have a beautiful outcome! I would also like to be apart of an art club. I love art and would enjoy taking classes to better my skills. I have always dreamed of being apart of a sorerity. I am not sure which one because there are many. 1-Friends. Building bonds with different people. Finding people who are trustworthy. 2-Sports. I was apart of volleyball my first year. I joined cheerleading my second year. Over spring break I went to Italy. It was the most amazing Break. One of the adventures was walking. Walking was our way of transportation most of the time. Every day we walked miles and miles. Some of the greatest places was going to Sarento, the beach was beautiful. My friends and I went into the water. Mr dory joined us and we had a lot of fun. Some other adventures was having "free time" when we had free time we were able to go around by our selves. It was always an adventure to find our way back. My first shout out is going to Alexandra Villanueva because she has done all of her RIHlAS and it seems like she put good thought into them. Also, during advisory she helps with my homework for history which helps me during class. My second shout out goes to Mariso DeLo becaus edge always has pretty good responses to the RIHLA questions. Slavery has changed in many ways from back in the day. Slavery is not legal anymore. Now it is more frowned upon if it ever shown. Sex slaves are not being treated equally which would mean that is not going with Lincolns movement. he wanted everyone to be equal. They are notequal if they are slaves. The anti-traficing movement is important. The hotline is a great way because it can be annynomus as well as help many others who may call. I think schools ban books because they do not want to go against certain sensitive subjects such as racism, religion or any other subject that might be suported by family values or morals. I think it is reasonalble but I think not one book should be banned because it is good to know what else there is to read about. Learning from other countries, people, and difrent values is the best way to learn. I think if we learn about different topics our knowledge will expand and we no longer would just be on demensional to what we were brought up us.
