Internet I final have internet at work so I can start hassling you!
Hope you have lots of music to listen to, bus journeys are loooong now you are in OZ!
Haircut! So far I haven't felt the need to comment on your carzy antics but this time I can't resist??? Look at that baby face of yours........how cute you look! And no it is not an 'Allen transformation' but after all those months of constant grooming it's quite a shock! Beauty Jase!!
Haircut In a weird co-incidence I got a haircut over the weekend and it ended up looking a fair bit like yours. At first I wan't happy, but i think once I get over the surprise of a new haircut i'll learn to live with it.
Cheers bud Thanks Andy but not in a good way. No Turmeric but that was probably a good thing since make so much rice I was bound to get the Termeric quantity wrong. Probably would have glowed in the dark!!!
Cheers bud Cheers Devs, very kind of you. It was sort of panning out a bit like wheatly but essentially ended up the sameway. Ye Chris was so much the better player. Somehow won the first game then he kicked my arse in the second but when potting the black the white also went in.
Pool Your pool story reminds me a lot of the Wheatley pool competition. That night was awesome when you beat Chris (didn't he accidentally pot the black as well at one point?) Then there was the game against Big foot that you really should have won. God he was such a knob. I feel confident that if you had won, you would have won the overall uni title.
Always the Bridesmaid - never the bride.
TopGear Bad news dude; the BBC aren't keeping TopGear on their website any more, so the latest series is gone forever. Unless you go back to New Zealand in, say, 5 years time.
Drinking Game I've seen that drinking game in Austria before, the only difference in rules was that you have to toss the hammer up in the air, catch it and strike in one move, you have to nail your own nail in and the last person to do so has to buy the round for everyone else but then is not allowed a drink himself.
Bunny Did the bunny really need to be sheared? Your trip seems to a catalogue of abuse to small domestic pets. - Eating Guinea Pigs, subjecting Rabbits to medieval rack torture. What's going to be next? A drinking game that involves trying to beat a hamster to death with a stick? Seeing how far a chipmonk can run after it's had it's tail set on fire?.......
friend Some guy from my office is travelling around NZ at the moment. His name is Mark and he has reasonably long black/grey hair. Keep a look out for him.
Sports and Filums Hey dude - time for the usual update.
Honda have launched their 2007 car and seem to have gone all huggy-feely (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/6396763.stm).
The Carling cup ended with an old fashioned punch-up. My score card had Arsenal winning every round but the last, but Chelsea managed to deal the knockout blow in the end.
Ireland absolutely tanked England in the Rugby. Paul was there and I'm not looking forward to him coming home ;-)
Scorsese finally won an Oscar.
Message ends.
Photos I agree with Olly on this. I've only been reading your blog for the photos of hot looking backpacking girls, and they seem to have dried up recently.......
drinking games Ah, "god save the queen". What we call "penny-ing". Many a formal hall has been lost in time due to the practice of pennying. I'm surprised you haven't heard Allen or I talk about it at some point.
plaza sesamo here is what wikipedia says about the plaza de armas in latin america:
"The Plaza de Armas (Plaza of Arms) is the name for the main square in many Latin American cities. While some large cities have both a Plaza de Armas and a Plaza Mayor, in most cities those are two names for the same place.
Most cities constructed by the Spanish Conquistadores were designed on a standard military fashion based on a grid pattern, taken from the Roman Castrum, of which one of the blocks would be left vacant to form the Plaza de Armas. It is often surrounded by governmental buildings, churches, and other structures of cultural or political significance. The name derives from the fact that this are would be a refuge in case of an attack upon the city, from which arms would be supplied to the defenders."

NZ
It seemed to me like you were not in NZ for as long as South America.
