Some how Rob and Neil managed to make the bus this morning. I awoke not feeling particularly grand jumped out of bed shaved and showered. I went down the street to graba sandwich for lunch (thats how late I got up).

It was a sunny day but incredibly cold int he shade (cool wind coming off of the lake.)

I slowely made it up the hill to the place where you can do Lugeing. I had arranged to meet Gill and Cas there at 1:00. 45 minutes later I was about to give up thinking Id been stood up, but they finally arrived.

the Lugeing in queens town is quite abit more expensive then at Rotorua so we opted for only 2 rides. We took the gondela up then walked up the hill to the start point (It was bloody freezing up there and to make matters worse the sun had disappeard behind clouds). Got going and did the scenic track first (did it as quickley as I could as I was freezing my nuts off).

Once at the bottom you take a chair lift back up. Once on it started sleeting and I only has a t - shirt and sandles on.The advanced track was next and it was really great, very challenging with some parts where you could almost get some air.

We checked out the view from the top then quickley made it back down to the bottom where it was warmer (the sun finally came out again) and went for some coffee or in my case Tea (must follow the national stereotype).

Left Gill and Cas and agreed to meet them later on for a quiet drink.

since my hair was getting a little long I decided to go and get a trim. Found a place (looked nice enough) Asked for a simple trim and tidy up. Got talking to the hairdresser not really paying attention and the next thing I know it she'd taken loads off!!! My hair is who I am man!! Bugger and I was due to meet Gill and Cas later on, disaster (At least I wont have to worry about cutting it for a few months and it only cost 10 pounds).

Went back to the hostel where I bumped into Adam. He reassured me that the new hair cut looked good and made me look much younger, which was a bonus as I would discover later on that Gill and Cas are alot younger then they looked too.

Got some food at the hostel bar with Euan and others. Had a drink then went down to the Red rock cafe to meet Gill and Cas. It was a good laugh apart from the locals at the bar continuously checking out the girls as they were the only two in the bar.

the others arrived later but stuck to there on end playing pool.

At closeing time I said good bye to alot of the guys who were off tomorrow and walked the Canadians down to Ferburger.

I left them there and organised to meet them tomorrow night.

went to sleep early.

So where's the photo of your new haircut? It can't be anywhere near an Allen-level of transformation.
