Das Paradies Nach den eher anstrengenden zwei Wochen in Indien, kommt uns Nepal vor wie ein Paradies auf Erden. Es ist hier ruhiger. Die Menschen sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer am lachen- sogar einen Haufen Gras den Berg hinauftragend. Die Luft ist frisch, alles ist grün und die Berge ragen als weiße Riesen in den Himmel. Die fröhlichen Nepalesen lieben ihr idyllisches Land und sind stolz darauf. Jedoch ist die Unzufriedenheit gegenüber der Regierung gross und die jungen gut ausgebildeten Leute geben ihr Bestes um nach Europa oder Amerika gehen zu können. Die Chancen im eigenen Land einen guten Job zu finden ohne spezielle Kontakte ist fast unmöglich. Zweimal am Tag, zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten geht in ganz Nepal der Strom aus. October 8th - Tadopani (2630m) to Ghandruk (1940m) - descent of 690m We left Tadopani this morning knowing we had an easy, pretty much all down hill trek, to the lovely Ghurung viallage of Ghandruk. We said our goodbyes to the staff at Magnificient View and headed off for what would end up being about 3 hours of walking. The path started descending straight away, with small ups and downs along another goat trail through the jungle. We now had the mountains behind us and would soon begin to have views of the gorgeous valley we were descending into instead. After a while we hit steps again and started to descend steeply. On day four I trekked from Danaque to Chame. As soon as I'd reached Chame, I lost interest in the trek and decided to head back to Danaque the next day and hang out with the Tibetan family that hosted me, for a bit longer. Originally, I'd wanted to return because of the girl, but then I lost all expectations. Maybe things would have gone differently had I trek with a partner, but then it would be about someone else motivating me and not me pushing myself. This is officially my first day of trekking. I trekked from Syange to Tal. It was about 10 km and took me six hours to complete. I had a little scare when I lost my way and wondered off path. Luckily, I ran into some trekkers and followed them for a bit. Tal is a town at the bottom of the valley surrounded by mountains. It was the epitome of nature porn. My first official day of hiking.
