Wow, I had heard that this place was expensive, but it is completely insane. You can't breath here without paying. It is a crazy hectic, fast paced city, where everyone is in a hurry. Such a change from the Asia from which we just left. In Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, life is a slow calm pace. A, when it happens it will happen type of attitude. Not so here......we arrived amidst rush hour, and caught the train from the airport to Tokyo city center. We are staying at the Shanagawa Prince hotel, which was the only available place under 200 bucks a night. Seriously. So the place is some kind of entertainment resort full of eateries, bars bowling alleys, (over 80 lanes), and completed with a Dolphin aqua center and show, oh and a huge theater
